Excellent greens
The course is in great condition. The tee boxes were a little chewed up but the fairways, rough, and greens were excellent. Love playing here

Just golf
This is a low price green fee golf course, and relatively easy. Sometimes it’s more fun to go out and play against yourself instead of against a Course that’s riddled with hazards and difficulty. The course has no sand bunkers, and the rough is easy to hit from. We played in 3.5 hours and had people pushing behind us. The course could be walked, unlike so many of these northern lower Michigan course is cut out of the forest. If they added 50 bunkers and let the second cut of rough grow, they could charge double but I doubt that is the intent.

The layout of the front is kinda crazy, the back 9 is much nicer. It’s not a bad course and it’s in pretty good shape $55- weekend rate is very high for this course though. I’d play there again if I got another hot deal.

Course was in decent shape. Lot of blind shots. Pace of play was slow. Skipped a hole because group in front was 3 holes behind on the front nine. No rangers. Have played this course now 3 times. Never again.
