About
Brae Burn Golf Club in Plymouth has a traditional layout with a landscape that ranges from gently rolling to wildly undulating. On most holes, elevated tees play to elevated greens. The large, undulating greens usually slope back to front. Golfers will encounter water on 15 holes and the fairways are lined with mature trees. The bunkering is sparse but strategically placed and there are also rough-enhanced moguls protecting the greens, a unique feature at Brae Burn. One tip if it is your first time on the golf course is to study the course diagram beforehand since there are many hidden ponds that come into play on the fairways and greensides. The course's most famous hole is the par-5 13th, nicknamed "The Monster" since it measures a devilish 666 yards. This tricky hole double doglegs to the left and then back towards the right.

Slowwwww pace
Course in ok shape for November. Play us so so slow. The guys who play here refuse to let singles play through, very frustrating. Not good value for cost figuring in pace of play and conditions, plenty better value courses in the area.

Nice course
Course was in good shape. The club house was not in good shape. Needs work. Golf carts are needing to be replaced. They are showing their age. Restrooms were not very clean. But, the course itself was in good shape. The monster hole was an experience.

Trouble
There is trouble everywhere…every green is fast and has a TON of slope. There were a lot of very wet areas. There is water on the Monster hole just past the 2nd turn so stay left and don’t try to cut the corner unless your drive is very long and left. Tough course mainly due to the greens. If you can hit an iron 220ish that is your best bet on most of the par 4’s!

Brae Burn - very good time.
The course was in very good shape. Nice and green. The greens rolled nice, but very challenging.

One of my old favorites
Really enjoy the course layout. First 9 is on the easy side, but the back makes up for it. One of my old favorites, emphasis on old. Looks like they have not updated a thing in the last 25 years. Carts are old and the cart paths are a shambles. The extra rain could be a factor in the greens and fairways so won't complain too much on that. Still a fun course with great bones.

Fun quick round
Course in decent condition people don’t fix divots and league backed things up but overall fun course with nice elevation changes and a few blind shots

WOW
Course is quite hilly but with a cart is very doable. A below average golfer will find it quite challenging.
