Great experience
The course layout and holes are unique. For Nov in northern MI it was in great shape - greens were a little slow - definitely slower than in summer. The scenery and houses around the course are spectacular. Very secluded, woodsy, private feeling.
November goal weathetweather
Seventy degrees with sun and shorts. Course was the most immaculate course I've ever played. No leaves. Perfectly maintenanced. A wonderful late autumn treat. I would love to play it again.

Excellent conditions on this course
We had a great time playing this well groomed course. The Bistro for dinner was delicious and we had a 15 percent off coupon which the golf cart caddy offered to us.

Two different nines
Front nine wide open and lush. Back nine tight hilly and tough. Long par 3s over water and/or trash. Without a bailout lush fairways n greens. Great value

I and my wife enoyed playing golf on this property. The condition of fairways and greens are probably one of the best in recent years.

Course was in good condition. Pace of play was excellent,3 1/2 hours.
Great course
I have played most courses in N. Michigan. None have better conditions from tee to green. The greens are fast and true. Ball sits up on the fairways perfectly. The course is very scenic and winds through beautiful forests and environmental areas.
Good value, quirky course
Hard to score on this course if you haven't played it before and don't have anyone in your group that has experience playing the course. 25$ with cart was a great deal, but after playing bay harbor and a few boyne courses, It was easy to lose interest with this course. Play this one before you go to play the other courses in the area :)
Beautiful course
Great course beautiful up north setting back nine more difficult than front greens in great shape will play this course many times this summer great nineteenth hole and excellent food
wetness and fall/cool weather
enjoyed the course - back nine was rather wet and made the course tougher - back nine much more challenging - wet lands came into play - front nine had plenty of water.
really liked the staff. very helpful - friendly people all around, players as well as staff.

fair course
Thé course was un gold condition and the difficulty was fair but the greens were under aeration so the ball was not roling well.

Just so you know greens aereration- other wise, great course -fairways great condition, tee off too. Wet on second nine since they started spinkler on ten. Check if greens are better whencalling.
A very nice mix of holes
We played on a cool, wet day. Although the course was very wet it was quite playable. It was in excellent shape with very good fairways, tees and greens. Some greens are large and two-putting could be a challenge. Water comes into play on several holes, but fairways are generally wide enough that you can play to the safe side - you may have a longer shot into the green however. There are some narrower, challenging holes, and we enjoyed the overall mix of holes. We didn't feel that we were playing the same hole a few times.
Overall a great experience, and we recommend the course highly.
