Golfer Reviews
Not a bad word to say about this course. We did get stuck behind four senior citizens but the course was so beautiful who cares. I don't go to the course to rush my game and complain about slow golfers ahead of me, I go to enjoy the experience and I truly did here.
Great Course
One of my favorite courses and is in great condition. Honestly, compared to the other courses in the area, they probably could be charging more.
Nice layout and Fun
Played for first time. Course was well cared for. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Many dog leg holes and a few blind shots to make things challenging.
The pace was good and we didn’t have to wait at all. Overall great value and very enjoyable experience.
Would definitely play here again soon.
Course in great shape staff was very friendly best value for your money

I'd like to apologize for my impatience and posting a bad review few days ago. They did make a mistake and double charged me but i should have been more patient and waited for them to get back to me. Everthing has been settled now thanks to Mike and again my apologies for jumping to conclusion and posting a bad review. This app needs a review delete or edit option on their next update. Anyways...played here many times and its a great enjoyable course when its not slow.
First timer at Blackheath
Pleasantly surprised with this course; open links design with plenty of forgiveness from the tees. My two sons and so played with a fourth on Father’s Day starting mid- day and were concerned about slow play but were pleasantly surprised that we finished in 4 hours and maybe 5 minutes( a couple short waits on the back nine. Course was in nice shape. Didn’t like that I had a plastic curtain that really couldn’t be removed given I was riding with my son. For mid day on Sunday at $31 each it was great value!
This place running some shady business.
I reserved tee time for 3people and everyone showed up on time and paid for our rounds. Couple of days later i get an email from golf now saying that one person did not show up and charged me again. I called the golf course and they said they'd call me back and they never called.
Course wasnin good shape
Only issue we had was that it appeared that they had an outing over the weekend & the trash bins on ever hole were overflowing.
Always fun to play
Always a fun course to ply I always try to make it at least once a year. Course was in great shape and well maintained.
Solid course well maintained. Pace of play was good for a Sunday. Not much to speak of in amenities and the course is very tight so golf balls flying everywhere. If you don’t get hit, you’ll have a good time
Very nice course
I really liked the open views of the course. At the high points you are able to see over the majority of the course. The rolling hills and bunkers do give the feel of a true links course.
Overall I would consider a must play public course of Metro Detroit
Wonderful layout minus hole 11 ( weird par five- three of us played down fairway and the other played towards 8’s tee. For us three, it was a three shot hole easily. He hit driver gap wedge....)
As true of links style your going to get in Metro Detroit
Greens were pure and rolled true
Granted it was a drive for some one us but I would make the drive again to play.
We played during Covid Rules
- noodle was in cup but below cup line to allow putt to drop
- have a beverage cart but no booze sales
