Good course , good rate , good staff but the 5 1/2 hour round trumps all. Won't go back . It's the same every year

Course is nice but play was super slow. No rangers to help out and let the fools parking carts in front of and practically on the greens to move after putting out. Over 3 hours for first 9. Pace of play is always better with rangers to keep it going.

Pace of play beyond slow. Quit after 9 because it took 3 hrs. Terrible layout balls flying at you from every direction. Almost got hit 3 times. Would never go back to this course

Really liked the course but, don't plan on hanging out in the lounge. It is big and roomy but very out dated and very blah.

Had a blast on this course. Really cool layout on the links style course. Nice greens that play fast , excellent fairways and lots of bunkers. I read other reviews that say the staff was rude but i thought they were actually really cool. I will definitely revisit this course!

Very hot day but course was in good shape. Greens were a little rough but this is a pretty fair course and nice links style layout. Some tee boxes (hole 18) are dangerously inline with others teeing off (hole 9). We almost were hit by guy who hooked one on 9 behind us. Play was slow due to very slow 4 in front holding up two groups. The starter and the cart girl were great but the staff inside not helpful. Would not get us a cup of ice after buying drinks and get your own hotdogs.

First time playing here. Course was in decent shape, greens were not receptive but rolled nicely. Staff was rude. Playing partner tried taking "2 off the first" to which the ranger used profanity in telling us that is not allowed in the rules. Tee times were stacked too close together.

This is a links style golf course. It may not play as fast as a traditional links course but it is close. Good fast greens and fairways. The course was in great shape when we played it.

The course was in good condition and the price is good for where you are playing. However, the pace of play was extremely slow. The rangers let a group of 6 play in front of us and even they were waiting on every tee box to tee off.

Loved the course. Layout is fun, open, and inviting. True links style golf. Big wide fairways, but trouble if you miss in the wrong spots.

If this was just a review for the course... I'd give it 5 stars. However, the staff wasn't very friendly. The guy that checked us in didn't acknowledge us when we walked in and up to the register to pay... Just sat there texting for a few minutes. Never apologized, nothing. Once he came up to assist, he would off and on go back to texting and ignore us more. Definitely left a sour taste.

Rangers were very nice and helpful...however, the pace was SLOW. ALMOST A 6 hour round... And we were just a two-some.

The course is great. Definitely worth it for the price. Just go in with the right expectations about service and pace, and you'll be fine.

Course was in overall nice condition, greens were not perfect but they rolled fast. It was a hot windy morning but had an enjoyable round. Course was busy but pace was kept pretty good once we got going. We had a 6:24 am tee time and the course as already 15 mins behind getting people off the tee but other than that no complaints. Clubhouse and practice areas are nothing special , very basic at best but the course it self was enjoyable and very well maintained.

I took my son out to play Blackheath on Friday - he is 18 and graduating from high school this year. We played 18 and the cost thru GolfNow was $29 each including cart. We played as a 2-some and finished our 18 holes in just over 3-1/2 hours. Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience at Blackheath. The fairways were in excellent condition and the greens were awesome. I will definitely return.

Great course to play even for a recreational golfer like myself. Provides a good challenge but is not too difficult.
