Great course/Great Price
Thanks to golfnow i got an awesome hot deal! did 18 for $21.99. Can't beat that.. Course was fun, layout was great, greens and fairways were maintained very well.. I'll be coming back in a couple weeks.
I love this place
I've been here about 2 times now.. Both times were great! Greens were nice, tee boxes were nice. The layout was perfect and the weather was beautiful, what more could you ask for? I went in the morning on weekdays so pace of play isn't an issue, i'm not sure how weekends are. I plan to play here a few more times as i regularly visit the family cottage near Forester. Nice staff too!
Love this place!
Greens were well kept fairways were nice. Back 9 is really beautiful. I had such a great time here that I booked a tee time two days later. I’ll be coming back multiple times this summer.
Wonderful "Hidden Gem"
A great course "hidden away". Course conditions were fantastic and well cared for. Carts are newer models and worked flawlessly.
Reminded me of a few courses in Myrtle Beach.
Would definitely play this course again and was well worth the drive.
Great course
This course is one of my favorites. Love the layout and every time I’ve gone the fairways rough and greens have been cut and in very good condition. Thinking about joining a league there next year. Also it’s a GAM Course so your scores can be used for your official handicap. Staff is very friendly, prices of food and drinks are also great. Lowest I’ve seen. 5.75 for a pop big hotdog and nice size bag of chips! If your reading this review you won’t be disappointed. Course isn’t super challenging but the layout makes it fun. Only reason I gave a four star on cause condition, like most courses around the area bunker sand seems the last priority. Which doesn’t effect the course too much as there aren’t tons of them
Great track for the money
Was first one out of the box played front 9 in 45 min had to play through two groups on back 9 that shouldn't have been out there. Great track for the $
Going downhill
This course has all the potential but it’s way overpriced and overrated. I’ve played this course for over 20 years and it’s been reduced to less than ideal conditions. It’s sad to see this course on a downhill trend. Lots of memories shared here
Overpriced!!
Prices have gone up considerably over the past couple years and they haven’t made any changes. It is cheaper to put a half tank of gas in my truck and drive to Holly Meadows for 18 holes than it would be to golf 18 at Woodland Hills. Management should be ashamed! Also if you decide to use the driving range make sure they don’t give you balls that have been hit with the lawn mower.
Good time course
It all depends what you are looking for. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The greens are pretty nice. The players on the other hand seem to lack golf etiquette. It is common to run into groups of more than 4 golfers. People are slow to let you play through. I hit a shot on number 9 that was on the edge of the driving range and the fairway. There were two guys on the range hitting balls at me while I tried to make my second shot. Twice range balls landed within 15 yards of where I was standing. Guess they couldn’t wait 30 seconds for me to hit my shot and get out of there. I give thumbs up to the staff, the course and the price, you just have to deal with golfers that don’t understand the term “play through.”
This course can challenge
Course was in good shape considering the lack of rain and heat wave we have been experiencing for 2 weeks. Greens were rolling good and fairways were in pretty good shape. Some tee boxes did require a hammer to get your tee into the ground. Layout of course can be very challenging off the tee. #13, par 3, is the tightest hole you will ever play. 200 yards from whites, 235 from blues with pine trees running the whole length.
