About
Stony Creek is part of the Huron-Clinton Metroparks system and many locals consider it to be one of its gems. There aren't any residences near the golf course, giving it a secluded feel and providing unhindered views from the elevated tees. The course opened in 1976 but underwent a major renovation that included re-sculpting the bunkers and reconditioning the entire golf course. The layout features several doglegs and a surprising amount of elevation changes. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and bunkers are strategically placed along the greensides and landing zones. There are also lakes and ponds that come into play on six holes on the front nine and three on the back. Stony Creek's par-3 17th is the most memorable water hole and the 14th is also notable for its tiny "postage stamp" green.

Nice Park Course
The course was in the best shape I’ve seen in years, the Golf Now rate was excellent especially since you have to pay the park fee to get in. One issue was the fees included cart but the pro shop associate said it didn’t on his computer, fortunately I had the confirmation email. Overall beautiful relaxing round of golf !
Good Course, Grumpy Staff, Wild Turkeys
Great layout, decent amount of water, course is in good condition with the exception of a few teeboxes. They have a grass range, saw some deer and wild turkeys which was cool, had to pay $10 just to get into the Metropark area which was surprising with an existing teetime, staff are old, grumpy, and rude but who cares. I'd play here again.
Great park course
For the cost it's a no brainer. Easily playable but challenging.
Surprisingly a very nice track
Yes this was a great way to spend a round of golf with a few friends and the course was a nice challenge. We will be back. Great GolfNow value!
Excellent Coirse
Greens were excellent. Nice pace of play despite being fully booked, excellent coirse conditions. No gimme holes here.
Great timing
First time I played this course. It was packed, but I had nobody behind me and the people in front of me were fast. This early in the season it’s honestly the best condition course I’ve played yet this year. Probably going to start playing it on a regular basis.
New friends
We were paired up with 2 awesome people...Kat & Christina... had a blast with them and hopefully more time on the course with them... I'm not a fan of being paired with peeps but, when they're as easy going as these 2 can't complain one bit! We just want to have fun!!!!
Slow Play
Learned a lesson, never look to tee off between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. High school golfers were there and they walked like typical teenage boys.
