Bad
Played this course and it was terrible. Front 9 wasn't too bad, but back 9 was TERRIBLE. Every single tee box was getting worked on, and there was no fairways. I would not reccommed this course to anyone especially for what they are asking for it. Staff was nice that was the only good thing.
Maple Lane - East Course
Very good course to learn the game. More par 3's than usual, with well placed trees to make it a bit more challenging. All and all, a nice little par 69 course.
Nice Course
It was a good course to play that wasnt a million miles from me!!!!!! I shot the East Course also and enjoyed that one as well!!
Some Greens where in good condition
There where 4 bad condition holes. The other greens where good. Very slow play, ended up leaving after playing 11 holes.
Great course for beginners
The course was very easy. Only had two sets of tees so I couldn't play from a harder set either. There were multiple par 4's that were drivable. If you're new to the sport it's a great place to play.
Great practice vourse
Maple Lanes has 54 holes so the pace is not a problem. Greens are good, fun and manageable course. Saw a nice deer on the course today. Great bargain for quality of course.
bad time
First off when booking it said with cart. Didn't go to another course because it was walk only. When we got there they said no carts. The only thing they said was sorry take it up with golf now. Also three holes were closed.. that wasn't in the description of our tee time. They told us just to make them up somewhere. Then when we got to 16 after skipping 3 holes they told us they had a group starting and we'd have to play 8-9 again. Just terrible. They need to get it together. Will not be playing there again
Golf deal
Should be cheaper. Not the best design. I enjoy other courses in the area. Thanks.
Always a good place to play if you don't want to wait.
Maple lane has a bad reputation because it is an easy course. But that doesn't mean it's a bad course. Too many people base reviews off of the layout and how the course plays but i go by pace of play. Golf is only fun when you can play at your own pace. Maple lane is perfect for that because it is 54 holes. If you get stuck behind someone you can easily skip over to a different 18. The holes are pretty short unless you play on the red course which i try to as often as possible. There is no water only a few bunkers and the greens aren't elevated. The greens are in great condition though. They roll as good as a $50 course. This is a great place to go if you can pay under $20
Maple lanes east course
Great golf course for the price and location. 3 courses to choose from which allows all ages and abilities the right fit and challenge for their game. They have a starter named Phil and he is the best starter ive ever had the pleasure meet as well as there bag staff boys are a big help.
good course for the price
east course under construction two holes unplayable but greens are in great shape but the ruff is long and hard to find your ball with all the leafs.
$10 for 18
If anyone complains about playing for such a great deal, they need to find a new hobby! 10 and 11 were closed on east due to flood so we just played 12 and 13 twice which was fine! Last par 3 is 140 but tough with trees in the way! This is my 3rd time this yr and I will golf here again! Greens in great shape, fairways as well! Keep it in the fairway!
great day of golf
It was a good overall experience. Good course to play with my skill level
7/26 east course
My only complaint is that there isn't enough signage to tell you where the next hole is, especially on the East course, going from the 9th to the 10th
Superb green conditions.
Fairways and tees were average, however the greens are the purest I have played. While other courses may have quicker greens, they don't role as smoothly and do not bounce as much.
They have a cart staff that will greet you at your car and load your clubs which is very nice.
Amazing food, couldn't have been happier with the quality of the food service.
Old
54 holes is 18 too many. Might consider closing down an 18 for a driving range.
Great course but needs navigation signs to next tee
The course was great and clean but this was my first time playing and it was a slightly frustrating. After putting I found myself searching around for the next tee like a goof ball. Since there are 3 courses in the same area and no cart paths and the hole markers that are very subtle, finding the next tee box can be more difficult than find Waldo with your eyes closed.
Course
The first two holes are ridiculous. I thought it was a joke to have to walk over a questionable bridge to finish playing the first and to start the second. Needs attention.
Be careful, even when driving your car near this course. (EAST)
This review only covers the EAST course, as there are two other courses on the grounds of this club.
However, the East course was somewhat dreadful. The first three holes are poorly put together, and extremely cramped. On the first hole, if you don't have a 250yd drive, then you will have to first hit an approach shot... into a flock of geese. Then, be ready to cross two unsteady bridges on foot, as well as having to bring the clubs with you that you'll need for the next two holes, since you can't take the cart on those bridges. For 3 of the next 6 holes on the front 9, I hope you don't have any pull on your drive, because you'll hit the ball into traffic. For the other 3, I hope you don't have any hook on your drive, because you'll hit the ball onto another fairway (very cramped). In fact, I would stay away from the front 9 of the East course completely.
The back 9 was much, much better.
54 Holes in a 36 Hole Space
This is simply a tight course with greens and tee boxes woven tightly together. The staff is cordial and efficient. We played the East course and found it to be lacking some of the basic amenities like tee box markers telling you something about the hole. The greens and tee boxes were in great shape with all the rain we have had lately.
It's an alright course for an inexpensive round from GolfNow, I would never pay full price here.
