TERRIBLY SLOW WITH CARELESS EMPLOYEES
To preface, this is my first “bad” review of ANY golf course so I wouldn’t label myself a Karen. Writing this review @ 2:30pm in the middle of my 18 hole round-the only problem is I went off at 11:41am (in late October). There are 5 groups waiting at the 10th tee box (3 of which were singles). I went into the pro shop to address the issue & the two employees (who acted like it was an inconvenience to stop their conversation) showed absolutely no concern and did not even leave their seat to pair the singles back up.
Not a bad layout & not bad shape however I will NEVER return due to this pace of play and lack of concern from employees.
Nice Muni
It's been at least 4 years since last playing here, when playing in Troy we've typically played the newer Sanctuary Lakes. Pace of play was 4.5 hours, nit bad for a numi track, but we were the 5th group out in the AM, so the pace will continue to lag throughout the day.
Standard set up on the front (B2B par 5's and 3's), 1 par 5 and 3 par 3's on the back. Green sizes are above average.
There is a restaurant on site but you're paying restaurant prices for alcohol unlike the sister course Sanctuary where there are specials for beer and booze..
Very nice course
Staff was very helpful. Course was in great shape, as with most courses, I would like if they would offer more than a hotdog or sausage at the turn. I would definitely return.
Wait time
Had to wait at every hole and shot. No carr girl and no one making sure everyone was playing at a good pace to avoid back ups. Every shot was a wait.
3 hours to play 9 holes
Worst pace of play of my life. Got stuck behind a scramble league where each guy took 5 mins to prepare their shot and half the time ended up taking a playing another ball anyway.
Well taken care of
First time playing there. Not disappointed. Very well taken care of. Great layout! Pace was good! Recommended!
This course is very well maintained
The course was in great shape and the staff were all friendly.
Great time as usual
Love this course! It’s just the right challenge! The pace of play was perfect.
Packed course, but very nice
Paired us with a sweet couple, course was packed. But it was a holiday weekend. We will be back
