The greens are in horrible shape. The worst I've played all year.

This used to be one of my favorite courses to play. I won't go back until they fix the greens. How can you even open your doors for business with no grass on the greens?

Fast Greens

Surprising with all the rain so far this year that the greens were faster than I would have expected them to be. Even though a few greens were damaged and lacking grass they were playable thanks to the ground crew. We started playing from the blue tees but decided to play from the white tees to maintain better control of our game. This course is longer and more difficult than we expected. We'll be back with more experience, see you soon.

terrible, terrible,terrible greens!

the fairways and tee boxes are pristine, they are lush and have a lovely deep green color. the greens on the other hand (the surface that matters most) are like hitting onto a parking lot. the greens are crusty, cracked, and in some places bare because the grass has died and stopped growing. i dont mean 1 or 2 bad greens, EVERY green is absolutely terrible. it looks like the greens havnt gotten any attention all year. If i hadnt gotten a good deal online and paid the full price, i would have been irate. i probably will never go back.

Poorly maintained

The starter and ranger were very nice but that's the positives end. The course has a great potential but for how long it's been open the grounds are terrible. The greens are in awful shape with some of them unplayable. All of the greens are brown and have either dirt patches or crab grass growing in it. Some of the fairways feel like they have been under water for months. There was no beverage cart on the course and when we went inside at the turn there was no bartender to serve us. Finally got service from a maintenance worker who happened to be sitting at the bar. It was very disappointing and we will never be back.

This course is under construction

Some of the holes were ok. Many of the greens needed attention and were not very well maintained. A few of the holes were under construction and one hole in particular had workers in the middle of the fairway who would not move so that I could tee off. They pretended like they didn't even see me. Overall, this course is not worth the green fees.

Changes to the course have made it more challenging, but it needs to grow in some

The course has been changed since I played it 7 years ago the updates make the course more challenging. But the course still needs to fill in some areas

Worth your time

Glacier is a nicely maintained course. Greens were in good shape and a decent speed. Got paired with other GolfNow players, a single and a pair. Despite our 12 pm tee time we were all sent off as we arrived, me as a single at 11:30, then the pair and then another single. We merged into a foursome at the fourth hole. They need to educate the starter as this practice will hurt pace of play if it is their standard.

Condition Unfavorable

Don't believe that price reflected aeration plugs causing unfavorable ground condition, especially around the greens.

Should provide warning that this condition exist, allowing a person to decide whether it warrants playability; or at least offer a discount of some sort.

Even though I have played this course many times over the years and some improvement have been made, the large mounds along the cart paths restricts visibility of fairway and also does not provide easy access.

Requiring to walk up and down these steep mounds, with potential to slip on wet grass, can cause injury, especially like the day we had, with a lot of rain.

Nicely designed course

I played the Glacier Club twice with friends. We all enjoy playing there. The course has some really beautiful features including a few nice elevated tee boxes and stonework around the course. Some houses are close to the fairway and can be hit with a slice (from a right hander).

great course and location

Very beautiful course, nestled among a beautiful subdivision. very scenic. well maintained. on course restrooms are new, clean and well maintained with water coolers attached. golf cars are clean and well maintained. some greens are very elevated and challenging with no flat surfaces. your putting game had better be on. There are bunkers protecting the greens that will make you pay for errant shots. All in all a very challenging and fun course to play. Had a great time and have been back several times since.

very well maintained

beautiful course, challenging greens make it maybe easier to play second time but no patches or burnt greens....fairways seemed to be cut daily and staff, starters ensure no holdups, sufficient spacing between holes make for no noise or shooting gallery..i play marsh oaks, rattle run, and goldenhawk regularly and this is by far my favorite course for the money...$30 you cant beat anywhere ive ever played

Too many houses nearby, children playing on course

Typically challenging Arthur Hill greens, with need to be on correct quadrant or face 3 putting. Rough was short, probably to keep pace of play moving. Bunkers poorly maintained with sand more like gravel than sand. Enjoyed it enough to play another nine at a great price!
