Interesting course, fairways not level, so tee shot landings are a bit erratic. Elevation changes make for some challenging approach shots, but overall a fun course to play.

Hidden Gem

This course is a hidden gem in Antrim county, Overshadowed by A-ga-ming resort which is just down the road, this course more than holds its own

The layout is fun and challenging, with spectacular views of Lake Michigan. I would highly recommend this course for a quick 18 and then a great lunch or dinner afterwards.

I was visiting from Florida and my brother in law recommended this course. He plays it regularly for his league. It was in great shape and very unique. The pitch on several of the fairways has to be close to 15 degrees left to rright. The greens were pristine and extremely challenging. In fact, the 18th green seems to defy the laws of gravity and physics lol. Teeboxes were a little rough as should be expected after a busy seaason. All in all a great day on a great course I would visit anytime I was in town.

A northern Michigan gem hidden in plain sight

I've probably driven by Antrim Dells quite a few times wandering around northern Michigan. I'm glad I finally had time to play. A massive tree removal program (400 in the last few years) and better care of the turf has this unsung beauty looking fantastic.

The course sits on a ridge overlooking Grand Traverse Bay. This makes sunset dining on the patio of the hilltop clubhouse a special treat after a round. The opening holes on each nine drop off the ridge, while the rest of the layout wanders through wetlands and a mix of open and forested terrain. It might be the best course at A-Ga-Ming, although there's plenty of competition between The Torch, Sundance and Charlevoix CC.

Great day had by all

Antrim Dells was in tremendous shape, enhancing its challenges by completely fair.

Only waited on tee once, on course Marshall’s did a great job of insuring everyone’s pace.

We will be back next week

Find Somewhere Else.

The course is fun and in good shape. The staff is unfriendly, the pace of play was horrendous, and honestly there are better plays for the same amount of money. If you like waiting to hit every shot go here.

Worth the Drive

We went to Antrim Dells as part of a golf package we booked through The Chief. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. The course was in great shape and the greens held nicely and rolled true. I would definitely play this one again.

Our group loves to play here

See my reviews from previous Junes. Very nice conditions and the back nine of Antrim Dells is a fun romp up and down in the woods. Have to play here a few times to aim at the proper sides of greens to get the good bounce. The finishing hole when the pin is in the back portion is a beast. Co-owner Dave Hill continues to do wonders with this track. Really nice upstairs bar/restaurant with a stellar view of Grand Traverse Bay. Recommend.

It.was my son’s first “up north” golf experience and he loved it! Our attendant was very personable. The course layout was fun and the greens were challenging. We did a 9 hole golf now @ 2 on a Friday and then did the 18 hole replay for $39 @ 8:10 am on Sunday. We were not held up or pushed either time. A great value, we will be back.

A fun course to play

Antrim Dells has all the elevation change a golfer could want. The first tee is a beautiful, easy downhill par 5. After that, it gets a little more difficult. The greens roll true and have some wicked breaks. I'm giving this course 4 stars because of the conditioning. There were quite a few wet spots and some of the tee boxes were a little questionable, with no stairs on a couple that should have them. Other than that, this course is a fun trip up and down the natural, glacier-carved land. It's a challenge that golfers in the area should take!

Old School NoMI favorite

Affordable and fun the Dells has plenty of hills dales and wonderful NoMI views. Some minor skunk damage to turf on the opening holes and #2 fairway was still pretty wet. That being said refer to my review dated 6/5/17 - nice conditioning and greens featuring more slope than you think. After 25 years plus of playing this track I never complain if our group wants another round here. Dave Hill one of the owners has turned this place around and it's under constant improvement - even the restaurant that features a wonderful bay view. Back nine is wonderfully routed and challenging. 4 stars.
