A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort - Antrim Dells Course

Course was very well laid out and maintained. We were greeted by the club house attendant with friendly welcome and instructions. Course is challenging but wide open. Rough is present but not too punishing. Greens were in great shape and played with breaks. Sand traps were in great shape. We were not rushed at all. Pace was great. We played again on Monday just before the league started and had no issues with pace.

Highly recommend to locals or those traveling in from out of town.

This beautiful course is somewhat challenging. It just opened for the season, so the fairways were patchy, and the grass was on the thick side. I seemed to be the first client of the day, but others quickly followed. The brake pedal on the cart stalled out on the first hole, so they had to bring me another one. Staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The two port-a-potties had no toilet paper. I did not eat, but the food here has always been excellent.

The Club house smells like mold, golf course and carts are old

Not my first round at this course, but my last round here was 25+ years ago. It’s better overall now than it was then.

Fairways and greens in very nice condition, rough and tees a bit “squidgy around the edges” (thin rough, sorta chewed-up tees).

They’ve been working on improving conditions and it shows. They’ve removed 400+ trees, making the course more playable overall

Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

It’s a bit of a drive, but worth it for the value and experience.

Oh, and you can see Lake Michigan (Grand Traverse Bay) from the clubhouse, which is pretty cool.

Antrim Dells is a very solid course that is made better by the excellent staff they have running the place!

Interesting course, fairways not level, so tee shot landings are a bit erratic. Elevation changes make for some challenging approach shots, but overall a fun course to play.

This course is a hidden gem in Antrim county, Overshadowed by A-ga-ming resort which is just down the road, this course more than holds its own

The layout is fun and challenging, with spectacular views of Lake Michigan. I would highly recommend this course for a quick 18 and then a great lunch or dinner afterwards.

I was visiting from Florida and my brother in law recommended this course. He plays it regularly for his league. It was in great shape and very unique. The pitch on several of the fairways has to be close to 15 degrees left to rright. The greens were pristine and extremely challenging. In fact, the 18th green seems to defy the laws of gravity and physics lol. Teeboxes were a little rough as should be expected after a busy seaason. All in all a great day on a great course I would visit anytime I was in town.

I've probably driven by Antrim Dells quite a few times wandering around northern Michigan. I'm glad I finally had time to play. A massive tree removal program (400 in the last few years) and better care of the turf has this unsung beauty looking fantastic.

The course sits on a ridge overlooking Grand Traverse Bay. This makes sunset dining on the patio of the hilltop clubhouse a special treat after a round. The opening holes on each nine drop off the ridge, while the rest of the layout wanders through wetlands and a mix of open and forested terrain. It might be the best course at A-Ga-Ming, although there's plenty of competition between The Torch, Sundance and Charlevoix CC.
