Plays slow
The pace of play on this course is extremely slow. No spacing between tee times and more times than not you are waiting 10+ minutes to tee off every hole. Course is nice though.

Same as always... solid course
I like the place. Play there often now. Greens are great, fairways are really good, its challenging without being a nightmare.
SOME driver control is enough.
Water is just enough, sand is just enough... trees are just enough.

SLOWWWWWWW 5 hour round

Excellent but Challenging
Bay Pointe is a challenging golf course from my perspective. There are only two sets of tees and the regular tee is pretty long for a 70+ year old like me. There are several par 4s over 400 yards long. The greens are excellent but have lots of slopes and are difficult for someone who has not played them. But the round was enjoyable and, being on a lake, the course is scenic. I would play there again but I might hope for shorter tees.

Balance of Challenge
Good course that had a good balance of challenging and “easy” holes. Also had good variance between water hazards, sand and blind greens. Wasn’t a pristine course but well maintained.

Pace of play: slooooow.
Last 2 rounds here have been over 5 hours. They stack tee times every 8 minutes and then make no effort to speed up slow players. Never saw a ranger on the course. I will not be returning.

Misleading prices
Cost of 18 is listed as $45 on all sites during peak times, for prepaid golf. I’m aware that prepaid typically offers a price break, but $59 to pay in person is ridiculous; the pace of play and course is not worth that. Spend an extra $6 and you can play most premium courses.
