About
Located in Ypsilanti just off I-94 between Detroit Metro Airport and Ann Arbor is Eagle Crest Golf Club, operated by Eastern Michigan University and home to the college golf teams. Eagle Crest opened in 1987 and is a daily-fee course with a Marriott hotel located onsite. The elevated driving range and practice area overlooks Ford Lake and the course layout features several holes that play along its shores. The highlight is the signature par-5 16th hole that features a shallow, peninsula green on the lake. In 2012, EMU embarked on a 20-year master plan to the golf course that will elevate the stature of the course among NCAA host courses. Enhancements include tree management and more views of the lake, rebuilt greens and rerouted cart paths.

Very nice course close to home
Our foursome played this course and found it to be a challenging but beautiful course. The staff was great getting us checked in and teeing off as scheduled. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were well groomed and maintained. We will definitely play here again.
Great track and visuals!
Layout was impressive combining trees, water and hills. Greens were in great shape but too many knucklehead golfers don’t fix their ball marks. Want to play this again as I would have done things differently on many of the doglegs featured.
Also had lunch in the grill room overlooking the practice area. Nice choices and well prepared food.
Very enjoyable experience overall.

Amazing course - incredibly slow
Eagle Crest is a beautiful course that is typically reasonably priced for how nice the course is. The design is challenging and fun. It’s always in decent shape.
This is the second time I’ve gone to play on a weeknight, and it will be my last for a while. It took 3 hours to play nine holes (last time was close to 3 hours). We were waiting between every single hole. Eagle Crest is too nice of a course to be ruined by poor pace of play.
They either need to have rangers on the course monitoring play or space out tee times. The status quo makes for a bad golf experience which is hard given how nice the course is.

Solid Course
Eagle Crest is in good shape....area around 2nd green still needs to grow out since recently planted.
Greens were in decent shape especially considering I was playing after a 150+ person scramble.
Like to play yearly and is always solid course.
