About
Located in between Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Golf Club, founded in 1899, is one of the most historic clubs in the state of Michigan. The club was private for most of its history, but an ownership change in 2019 turned this venerable layout into one of the area’s best public experiences. The 18-hole course plays 6,512 yards from the championship tees, though there are four sets of tees The club is in the midst of a multi-year restoration and enhancement project, guided by architect Ray Hearn, that includes green enlargements, tree management, and in the installation of some new championship tees. Facilities here include a putting green, small driving range, chipping green, and a large clubhouse, grill and bar, patio and event space.

good course
Always a pleasure to play at Washtenaw GC but today Sunday Sep 19th it was extremely slow, we had a 157pm Teetime, started a little earlier but not done until after 5hr 15min, so very slow! Otherwise a great day!

Nice Track. Very well maintained. Challenging but fair. Greens were very good shape. Love this old school track..

Hidden Gem
Challenging course. Penalizes you harshly if you don't hit greens, as they are mostly small and very fast. Course was in excellent shape. One of my favorite places to play in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area. Try to play there at least a few every season. Like the updates that the new owners are doing to the course

Great old course. Greens always run true and quick. Great tree lined challenge. Course will let you know how your playing. It can bogey you to death if your a little off. If you’re on you can score on it.

Wow!
First time playing this course. What a beautiful layout. Typical country club track. Narrow, long, but very playable. The greens were fast and true.Totally enjoyed the round from start to finish. I was met in the parking lot with a cart from an employee. Nice touch! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great day.......

This course is in championship competition golf condition. Everything is country club groomed. Greens are fast and roll true. Simply perfect

Great Course
What a beautiful and well maintained course. Came to visit my family for a few days and had an opportunity to play my first Michigan course. The greens were better than some courses I’ve played in Florida. Very nice fairways and I loved the narrow fairways and holes that forced you to choose your shot wisely. A must play if you are visiting the Ann Arbor area.
