First time playing WP , would go back. Great design
Fun, Affordable
Like everything about the course. 19th hole, is nice. The only tiny draw back for those of us who haven't invested in a personal gps, is the cart gps doesn't have spot yardages.
Great place for golf!
Finally got out to Annandale to see this course. Had a blast! Originally a 9-hole, Joel Goldstrand designed today's 18-hole layout about 35 years ago. It's one of his better designs with fun-but-playable holes and a great deal of challenge for even the best golfers.
What you can expect:
* very interesting looks on almost every tee shot
* a few risk/reward propositions early in the round
* narrow, unforgiving fairways on some of the back nine holes
* a variety of par 3s
Enjoy!
Love whispering pines
Bang for you buck one of the best courses to play in the surrounding area. Majority of my golf throughout the summer is golfed there.
Great pre-season play
Came out opening weekend and had a great time. Greens ran true for early season, and the course was clean. Will be back soon!
Excellent Course
Course was in great condition. Very nice variety of holes from 1-18. Always enjoy playing this course!
Tale of two nines
Well maintained and well kept is one of the main things I noticed. The greens were in great shape as well as the fairways and tees. I enjoyed the differences in the two nines and the course had some good and challenging Par 3's. Pace of play was excellent and once we finished we enjoyed a cold beverage in the clubhouse.
I've recommended the course to many of my friends and they've enjoyed playing there as well. The staff was super friendly and just a nice and enjoyable time for all of us. They do a great job taking care of the course, clubhouse and the golfers that come to play and relax.
Well done Whispering Pines! looking forward to my next round this spring !
Great course!
I've been playing the course for over 15 years. It continues to better with many upgrades! Great course!
Great Course!
This is a great course! We've annually for 9 years had our Putts Fore Paws Golf Tournament here. Everyone enjoys the course! The owner Mark is a pleasure to work with.

WP
This is a fun course to play with any level of golfer. It adds a challenging aspect on a few of the holes. It gives the golfers more of an opportunity to play target golf, encouraging you to play smart golf. Brand new carts make it a comfortable 18 if you chose to ride.
A true golfers course!
If this is your first time playing indoor expected low score it’s a tough course but very excellent greens and ton of character
A MUST play MN course!
I’ve been golfing here for many years and it never disappoints. Recent renovations (ie new cart paths, new outside patio/eating area with pergola and rock/waterfall structure, new tee box signs, etc.) are fantastic and staff is exceptional. Carts have GPS, course is usually in great shape (fall leaves are an unavoidable hazard), and I’m always greeted with a smile.
A course that’s well worth the drive - no pun intended.
