Bluff Creek Golf Course

I thought this course was well maintained with a fair amount of challenges. Nothing really exciting to set it apart from other courses.

There was a long, slow line to pay your green fee. There was no starter. Two groups showed up late and expected to go off before those of us who were on time. C'mon Bluff Creek, on Saturday morning I expect you to be more organized.

The course was in very good condition and play was not slow.

Course nice enough but 4:45 for 18 not good. We waited on every shot. Get an effective ranger!

Tried to pay for our round but was told rudely to wait. She wasn't doing anything and there were others waiting also.

An argument among the pro shop staff broke out after our round and the voices were loud. The environment felt hostile.

Hot days and no beverage cart and the water jugs were empty--all of them!

No ranger to move play along. Players driving their carts on fringes of greens.

Not a fun experience for our group.

The course was great. The grounds keepers were nearly invisible and the speed of play was just right. We played in just 4 hours. My only complaint would be the sand traps. The sand is too much like gravel and hard packed. But we're not supposed play in there anyway.

Pace of play was horrible. Fivesomes... toddlers... golfers who hit a tee shot 200 yards but sit and wait for the green to clear then hit their 3W 50 yards on a 480Yd Par 5 are some of the specimens found here. Course is in good shape.

From a golf standpoint, it was tremendous. Challenging layout, tight fairways, lots of elevation changes, well-manicured greens. I would tell anyone to come out and play it.

BUT...

The pace of play was HORRENDOUS. First off, they didn't have enough carts by 10:40am. As a result, we got off 20 mins late and the backlog lasted all over the course. 3:15 in and we were standing on 12 tee...waiting behind a groip while another group was in the fairway. Inexcusable. The scorecard said that corrective measures would be taken but I never saw any close to being implemented. We had to leave after 13 holes and by that point, we were at 4 hours. I know it's a Saturday in the summer but if I was back here for another weekend, I would hesitate to come out because of the scar of this pace of play.

Again, great golf course...very enjoyable to play. But the pace made turtles feel like Speedy Gonzales.

This course had some challenges but overall it was a fun course to play. Not many hazards to contend with but several dog legs so it strategic to go for it or lay up. Great chef in the kitchen so be sure to plan lunch before or after the round.

Great staff! Course is in great condition. Ranger could move things along a little better.

The course is excellent! The condition was top-notch. great value for the money! We orders a burgers which was awesome as well! The Greens are tricky as there not many flat puts, but that is golf i guess. great course layout, and pace of play was excellent.

Bluff Creek is a well kept course, both my playing partner and I commented on the quality of the greens. The elevation changes offer some entertainment value and add some challenge to club selection. There had been quite a bit of rain the day before we played but the course held up nicely even though the cart paths didn't. The only item that we both noted was the condition of the tee boxes, grass quite long and not in the kind of condition the rest of the course presented. Overall, we'd both go back and play Bluff Creek if we found a deal like GolfNow's.

The course was in very good shape and very challenging. Tough greens! No complaints about the course or the layout what so ever. The only things that were bad about the place was the staff and beer prices. It was comparable to going to a baseball game! 7 bucks for a beer? The staff (or at least the lady we dealt with) didn't seem to thrilled to be there. She was really rude when I asked for pricing on beer, like I was putting a burden on her. However I would still recommend the course to friends.

Course was in great shape and the layout was very cool. The only problem was the pace of play. It was backed up on every single hole couldn't get in a rhythm. Not sure what can be done about that but u thought I should let you know!

Bluff creak is a nice course, great rates, pace of play is always quick, and the course is fairly challenging.

I really enjoyed walking this course. It has moderate hills, and elevation that provide great views. The greens are really in great condition. The fairways are also in great condition. Overall, it's one of my favorites.

Love playing Bluff Creek, but the golf carts are so dirty your not sure you want to sit in them and the windshield was so dirty on every cart that it was hard to see out of any of them

We weren't pushed at all. The overall course was fair at best. The greens were good but the fairways need some TLC.

It had been 5 years since we played this course. Pleasantly surprised at the upgrades to both the clubhouse and the roads leading to the campus. Thank you!

We have played this course many times and go back because it is a nice course and the staff is very friendly and not snooty as are some at other local courses. I signed up to play this course for $29.00 and I paid $7.30 upfront to GolfNow part of which was prepayment at the course. I still had to pay $29.75 at the course can someone tell me why? I have a tee time for May 2nd for the same price am I going to pay more again?
