Great fall condition
This is an excellent layout. No two holes play the same, unlike many other courses. There is an excellent mix of easier and more challenging holes. If you play the right tees, none of the holes are so long as to be almost impossible. Birdies are not easy to come by, and pars are possible on all holes. The greens are in wonderful condition right now. Rough is long enough to be difficult, and fairways are in really good shape.
This course is in great shape
Bluff Creak is my favorite public course in the southwest metro. The course is laid out nicely and is in great shape.
Good Course for all!
Nothing that standsout about course. ABout what i expected. Challenging holes and nic elayout. green fairways and tough tough greens. Elevation changes make it difficult. Nicely manicured around greens as well. overall really nice for the online deals. Not worth full price.
The course is in good shape and offers a good challenge.
It was my first time to the course and I was impressed. I will definitely be looking for an opportunity to go back. No major complaints at all and the minor ones I can't even think of now. Staff was very nice and helpful. Clubhouse wasn't the best I've been in but I hardly noticed and didn't mind.
many great holes
bluff creek has new carts with gps. hole 12 is my favorite, demanding tee shot then a green on side of hill guarded by a deep ravine. lots of woods and hills make this a beautiful course.
Slow play
Very slow play no rangers, had to leave after 9 holes. Paid for 18
Nice course for the money.
this was a nice course for the deal we got thru golf now. not sure Iwould golf there at full price. the course has been a victim to the weather, so the was a lot of wet spots.
Gets the job done for me!
I play this course on 1-2 times per month on average. The course is in good condition and is fun to play. My only constructive comments would be that the price is a little high when compared to courses of similar quality.
Will not recommend this course for the price
we had an ok experience but will not recommend this course because the price was too high. so look like someof the cart had gps and some didn't.
Great course with plenty of challenges. Requires good course management.
I have played this course several times and really enjoyed it. I did find this time that playing early in the morning, I was dodging the irrigation system watering the fairways and that was a bit of a pain. There was also a more than unusual amount of grounds work going on and the crew seemed to be everywhere running the mowers and carts in and out of the holes through the entire round. It was a distraction at times although they were very courteous and respectful of golfers.
I do enjoy this course and will play it again. Fun!!
decent course
Seems to play long. Several tee boxes were quite rough. There were spots on fairways that were under repair probably due to all the rain this spring. The rough was short enough that finding your ball was not a problem, but still long enough to change your club selection. Greens are fairly large, but a couple are very sloped and hard to get the ball to stay on, or to sink a putt of more than a couple feet. The carts have GPS which helps. Overall a decent course for an average golfer.
Rude starter
Played today with two other singles, and at the turn the starter named Johnson demanded one of us give up our cart. Not only was this an inconvenience and put us all in a bad mood, it slowed our pace of play down. Management needs to hire starters who are as nice and customer service oriented as the pro shop staff was. One bad apple spoiled the cart.
Hole 12 is a fun challening hole .
Had a great time course was in good condition and staff freindly. Could have mentioned no beverage cart on course this day.
Course conditions were horrid.
While 29.00$ for 18 and a cart is a deal. The course conditions soon explained why.
I understand it was long winter and your course is located on a swamp. But the conditions from holes 2-18 were absolutely horrid. From the standing water through out the fairways to the dead grass. I was glad to see the 18th hole, which meant I was closer to heading home.
I usually enjoy this course, but I will not be visiting for a while if ever again.
greens were fast but true, course is challenging and in good condtion, some of the fairways haven't come back from winter yet. overall rating is good.
great value, excellent course for the money, and very challenging.

Course Needs Work
Just played this course this morning, and actually carded my lowest ever score. The course, however, was in pretty bad shape. I'll cut them a break, given the poor winter we've had...but all of the tee-boxes were far below average. Greens were hit and miss, and the fairways were as brown as hay. Groundscrew did not stop machinery when you were playing, which didn't bother me but thought I'd point it out. Got a good value though, and was entertaining for me.
Winter took it's toll
Played this course many times. First time this year after a long winter. Winter kill was abundant. Worst shape i have ever seen it.
I sure hope they are able to get it back soon.

I would have to agree that the spring conditions were the worst this course has been in for a long time. It was also the worst winter we have had to deal with in a long time. But i would like you to know the course has been returned to its usual great conditions. Every fairway was reseeded and looks and plays great. Greens are in great condition as well. We would love to have you return. Thanks, Mike C, General Manager
Well maintained course, excellent greens.
Had a great time out at Bluff Creek. The greens were in excellent shape and the staff was super friendly. One of the best values around!
Bluff Creek Late September Early Fall
It was nice that they have a driving range now but, if there was a sign I didn't see it to direct me there. The course was in over all descent condition however if you go off the fairway, it's difficult to find your ball in the brown ruff. There wasn't an attendant there so I had to ask the the 2 groups teeing off if they were my time and the 1st group responded with they prefer to go alone which was rather awkward!
I am sorry that you had that experience. Our rangers and starters try their best to ensure a great time be had by all. If he came across with that attitude, i would like to apologize for him. No matter what our cart policy is, he should have treated you with more respect. Please email me, Mike, General Manager, at generalmanager@bluffcreek.com if you would like to comment any further. I will discuss your comment to his direct manager, and will make sure that type of attitude will not be tolerated.
