Hole 10 Photo submitted by u314164227538 on 07/08/2023
Quite possibly the best value round of golf in Minnesota
First I have only played the highlands so everything in this review is specific to that. They also have a lowlands course that I've been meaning to try but I just keep playing the highlands.
This course is fantastic. There is plenty of variety in the hole layout. There are some pretty long holes and a par three that you are going feel like using your putter on the tee (exaggerating but not much). There's a couple really sharp dog leg holes that potentially reward you if you can clear some trees, but I don't recommend trying that if it's your first time. Hole 17 is a massively downhill par 3 that is super fun off the tee.
GET A CART. Honestly I always get a cart so for all I know it may be required here, but if it's not...GET A CART. This is a very long and spread out course with lots of elevation change. There's a point where the ride in the cart is about 5 minutes from one hole to the next (they have a sign reassuring you at the halfway point). Also you won't be seeing the clubhouse until the the full 18 is over so plan accordingly.
I've played this course several times over the last two years and it has become my favorite because it rivals courses I've paid $50-$60 a round at I've been playing this course for under $30 most of the time. When you find a hotdeal on Teeoff it can be as low as $22 for 18 holes and a cart. That's why to me this is the best value for golf in Minnesota.
Gorgeous course!
Challenging course with great scenery and the elevation changes make it pretty tough from the tips. I play this course any chance I get it's not too far from South metro
Greens were in awesome shape.
The course is kind of tricky. Local knowledge would be a must for low scores.
Most Scenic course
Everything was excellent EXCEPT - The golf cart was the worst I have ever used in 30 years!!!!!
