Missaukee Golf Club is located between Lake City and McBain, just a few minutes from the beautiful downtown district of Cadillac. At 6,045 yards from the back tees, the course is player friendly enough for golfers of all skill levels. The golf course sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with a mix of hardwoods that give it a true northern Michigan feel. This forgiving layout lacks the tougher features that are characteristic of some of the area's most popular courses and provides a more approachable round for beginners. There are five ponds and a small creek that come into play throughout. Missaukee Golf Club is a wide open course that is player friendly enough for the weekend hacker, but there are still a few challenges in store with the water hazards and also several strategically placed bunkers.

5th green. Toughest par four on the course even at only 325. You have only about a 25 yard window on your tee shot to get to a spot in the fairway to have a clear shot at the green. Anything left on this hole is instant death and a sure penalty. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 12/27/2022

9th green. The toughest par four on the course after hole 5. Again, you have to hit your tee shot far enough to the corner but too far means you'll go through the fairway. Green slopes SEVERELY from back left to front right. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 12/27/2022

This course is fun to play. It's fair and in good condition. Great value for the price! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great course well maintained
Great Little course that is well maintained with a lot of dog legs and fast greens that make it a challenge. Bad shot can usually be saved due to the openness of the course and the staff was OUTSTANDING

As a spur of the moment choice to play, the course was in very good shape. Pace of play was very quick and the price was amazingly inexpensive. course was of moderate challenge, rewarding good shots and allowed for recovery on most errant shots. Would recommend to those in the area.
This course is great for straight hitters
This course was well taken care of, the fairways were air-eated but the greens & tee boxes were good

Nice course for couples as few blind shots. Fairways and greens in good shape. Not real challenging but fun to play. True yardage markers on sprinkler heads.
Outstanding condition
The course was in great shape, a real bargain for the quality of the course. No outstanding views or anything special, however if you would like to play a course at a value price with very good greens this is the place

Fun course with fast small greens
This course was easier than the courses I have been playing, felt it was in good condition and the greens really are fast thus the ball rolls out. It was a fun day played with two people who knew the course very well so showed me the way.
A Diamond in the "Rough"!
A great course for the beginning golfer or a seasoned vet. The greens are always impeccable and pin placement challenging. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. But the real positive are that the club members make you feel like you belong. It's a very relaxed and fun place to golf!
Nice course for the money
Bought as a hot deal for $14 with cart. Played 18 holes in 2.5 hours. The fairways and rough could use some help, but the greens were in awesome shape. Very fast, firm, and true. Just as nice as the Boyne greens I played 2 weeks ago.
