Great value on a nice course
Everything went smoothly with tee time, and I enjoyed the round.
Neighborhood Course
The public course @ Ballwin is a good place to warm up for bigger, better courses. Better signage would help first time players like we were to understand how to get from hole to hole. Inconvenient to not have any bathroom facilities available @ the club house after the office is closed, but the course is still open.
Player friendly
Wet over night but ready for play with NO cart restrictions. Yeah!!!
Great golf day
This course was in great condition. We walked and it isn’t payed out for walkers.
Decent Nine Hole Course
Hadn’t been back at Ballwin in a very long time but saw some solid changes on its nine holes. Carts seemed to be decently new and a few tee boxes were redone. Not sure why but the greens were rock hard. Hardly any ball marks because of it! In fact, when we got to the third hole, a guy was out watering the next couple greens as they were so dry.
Fairways were nice and gave good lies. I remember there used to be a tree just to the right of the ninth green but it is gone now and makes for an easier tee shot. The course was crowded and led to a lot of waiting.
The rate to walk was $17 so we chose to do that. Most of the middle holes are pretty flat and easy to get around but there are a few, like holes 1 and 8, with hilly terrain that is a challenge to walk at times.
Sad
This course used to be the gem of nine hole tracks in St. Louis. No carts, dry ball washers, slow pace of play to mention a few.
Great course
The overall course was outstanding and the condition was execellent. We walked and had a little delay. The layout of the course is nice, but not very good for walkers.

This is a great nine hole course. Fantastic staff pro and courses always in good condition.
