Bang for the Buck!
I love this track and when I ask guys if they want to go play it they always say it's not a long course, but once we are in a few hole they are hating all the trees. This course rewards accuracy and not raw distance. The size of the greens will show who is a good approach player. Best advice I can give is take your medicine when needed and don't try the miracle shot to get out of the trees. The staff treats you like a member even if you are visiting, and you can tell they really care about their golfers and not just the money. Greens roll true and are in wonderful shape.
Great experience!
Had a blast! Course staff was fantastic!!! They gave us free yardage books and couldn't have been any more helpful. Greens were immaculate. Best bunker condition I've played this year. Will definitely be back.
Country Club course at public price
Bring your "A" game and keep it in the fairway at BSCC. This shorter than average course is tight. It rewards shots in the fairway and penalizes you when you stray from it. Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes were a little hairy and scraggly in spots, but overall a great golfing experience for the value. Enjoy BSCC!
Fun, challenging course
Staff was very friendly and playing conditions were good. The course has rolling hills and water comes into play on several of the Par 5's. It was a fun course to play.
Blue Springs CC
Nice course and even better course at Gokf Now prices. The greens rolled true and were in great shape
the course is in pretty good condition!
Really it's in great shape with the exception of the bunkers and the grass around them. I would avoid the traps if you can because there are some good size peebles in them. other than that I really enjoyed the course!
Tight fairways
Do not recommend playing at sunrise, due to first 4 holes play straight into the East of the rising sun. Lost 2 balls from not seeing 2nd shot flight path into greens, sure someone picked up them up later wondering how someone could have lost them so close to the greens. Played much faster after turning away from sun and scored better. Loved the water holes of this course, greens were great shape for late summer. Will play again, just later in morning.
Nice course, keeps you honest
Nice layout, not long, I'm a long hitter, played tour tees and only played driver on par 5s and a couple of par 4s and never had more than 8 iron coming in, you are definitely rewarded for keeping it in the fairway which especially on the front is not an easy task. The greens have a couple rough spots and the bunkers could stand some maintenance, my biggest disappointment was the practice range the tee areas were really in rough shape other than that great course look forward to going back.
Great course
CC of Blue Springs is my favorite course in the area. The staff is always very friendly and. accommodating. The greens are in great shape
everything perfect
beautiful course--great outing--didn't try 19th hole so can't tell you anything about that.
Highly recommend
For just staring to play golf and playing at several courses in the area this ranks up there towards the top. The fairways look like carpeting and the greens are very challenging. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this course
Over priced practice facility
We had a terrible experience at this place. To start we had a paired 4some ahead of us that didn't want to play together so once they got two holes in the split up and none of them could hit a single fairway and were holding up our threesome. Then because we were being held up the twosome behind us was constantly hitting into us. So bad that in multiple occasions we just picked their balls up for them because they were next to us. There was never a Marshall seen once our entire round even after calling the clubhouse.
It was about 96 degrees and not one single water jug was on the course anywhere. My guess is they never have water because there wasn't anywhere designated to hold it unless they just sit it on the ground or something. There also was no beverage cart going around so if you did not bring your own water you were out of luck. I ran out of water about the 5th hole and had to wait til the turn only to find out why they didn't have water jugs out. They want to charge you 2$ for a bottle of water. What a joke.
Course was in ok condition the greens were littered with unfixed pitch marks though. There are tons of trees lining the tiny fairways which is great for a challenge but it made for some nice cleanup before you could swing every time you missed a fairway. The place was littered with leaves sticks and twigs for the middle of July.
Like the course layout and it could be a good place but the lack of staff to do anything makes it a no go. No marshals, no beverage cart, no greens keepers to clean up debris.
Blue Springs Country Club
fairways rough need to be cut more often greens need work have A few bad spots on them all in all about average for an expensive Country Club
Awesome course!
Blown away by the standard this course just set! I did play during the week but They are offering a $17 deal at 1 pm everyday. This course can't be best for the $29 I paid. Everything is cut amazing, sand looked awesome, beautiful fairways and greens were immaculate. They had a course starter who even controlled the back side at 4 pm on a Tuesday! I can't believe this course was set at this price! Highly recommend
great staff
The staff was overly friendly. The course was top notch considering all the rain they have received.
Marshals are terrible here!
I would NOT recommend this course to anyone after yesterday. The weather was freezing cold for the 1st 6/7 holes (tee'd off at 8:30am...low 40's, 15mph winds & cloudy# We had a 3-some #14 yr old son and my 24 yr old brother# On hole 9 #after tee'ing off)we were told by a marshall "hey guys you need to pick up the pace as you should be making the turn by now as it's 2hr/5 min's per 9". We weren't playing super fast and had let 2/3 other faster/smaller groups play through with no problem as we should. I informed the marshall of this and told him that slowed us down a little but we didn't want to slow others down. We stopped for a hot dog/soda after the turn and was told by the bartender lady that someone called her and told her to tell us "you guys can't linger as you are getting behind and there's a foursome behind you". The 4-some passed us at our request. After a 5 min break we drove to hole 10, tee'd off. Had to search for our balls and this was 'cart path only' on this hole. We were down by the green hitting our approach shots and here comes another marshall telling us "hey guys, we can't do this all day. You guys just need to PU your balls and move to the next hole as their is people behind you". I told the marshall how I felt about this and informed him we'd be finishing this hole and THEN going to the next hole or they can give us our $$ back and we will leave if they prefer. This is the 2nd time we've had problems #unneccesary# with marshalls on this course. I have played about 500 rounds of golf in my life and therefore I know how to play and common golf courtesy. I will never be back to this course and I will tell as many people as possible about this experience. In my opinion the marshalls on this course need to go home because all they do is mess with public golfers here...which is too bad because I like the course other then that but people golf to relax and this was the opposite.
Great Golf
Challenging course with skilled putting required. Course will put a smile on your face after 18 holes.
Interesting course, close to home
Overall, my father-in-law and I had a good round. We were a little concerned early because the first few holes play extremely tight. It does open up some on the back 9. I found it interesting that another reviewer mentioned golfers hitting into them, because we also experienced that early int he round. We let them play through and avoid the stress. I really can't fault the Club for this, just a couple of morons. I should emphasize that its December, so I can't really make an accurate assessment. I believe the normal rate is 32 dollars, so based on my experience, I would say that is a little steep.
Fun Course
Greens were in good shape and the fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. The trees and narrow fairways made it challenging. We had a good time playing this course.
