Golfer Reviews
Great golf location in Branson
Very hilly layout but beautiful. Not very women friendly regarding tee to green length, but
My wife just teed it up where she felt
Comfortable.
Everyone working there were great and the
19th hole was clean, good, and fun.
The Smith’s
A little wet and aerated greens
Course was in decent condition but cart path only. Greens recently aerated so putting was difficult Very hilly and lots of uphill holes. Decent layout
Golf Now didn’t mention shape
Golf Now did not mention the shape of the coarse. Greens had just been plugged. I understand it needs to be done but they only let me play the front 9. I would’ve hated to see the back 9 because the front greens were horrible. Fairways and tee boxes hadn’t been cut in a week looked like. When I pulled up and seen the shape I tried to reschedule at the clubhouse but they would not let me since I booked at Golf Now. I’ve played here before and it was in good condition. I sure wish I could’ve rescheduled because it was horrible.
Front 9 closed no advanced notice of Aerification
Showed up to be told front 9 was closed, maintenance crew was aerifying the greens, 18 holes of golf would be played on the back 9 twice. Pace of play was slow, greens in good shape, would have like to have been notified if the maintenance schedule in advance, we would have scheduled our play at another course.
Beautiful and charming
This course was well maintained and clean! Pace of play was okay. Cary’s were nice with gps. No real driving range though
It is March after all
Needs a few weeks to get greener, shop staff a bit grouchy after winter I guess, but all good.
Good course
Played here on our trip to Branson. Compared to where I usually play the value wasn’t great but considering it’s a touristy town and during a holiday break it did its job to get your golf fix. Greens were in great shape for the winter. Holes are challenging and have some interesting features. The condos though take away from the ambiance and lots of vacationers on their balconies being loud. I’d play here again but would probably plan on somewhere a bit nicer next time.
Still a good place to play!
Im only here in the winter. This is a fun, terrain enhanced 18 holes. Lots of ups and downs!! Give it a go!!
Course under maintenance
I was not informed that the course was under maintenance when I called to inquire about rental clubs. Half of the course was closed. No reduction in greens fee.
Avoid this place at all costs!
How bad can it be? Really bad. Paid $100 for a $35 course and experience. Fairways had lots o leaves, crabgrass growing, bare spots, just terrible. Greens had a fungus on 13 holes, patches of newly planted grass that was in play (maybe move the pin to another spot?), generally just bad. #11 had a temp green that no-one told us about (cashier and starter).
Signage lacking pertinent information (first and last time playing here).
I felt ripped off.
Paid twice as much yesterday to play Branson Hills Golf Club, and it was fabulous! Perfect in every way that this course wasn't.
Terrible layout, not fun to play at all.
What could be their excuse?

A good course.
The staff was very friendly. The course was in good shape, but there was a couple of holes that you couldn't putt on because they were working on them. So they had a flag about 100 yards or less short of the greens. The rest of the greens were in decent shape. You can tell that the greens do get a lot of play on them but they were well kept and with the recent temperatures it is to be expected. I would definitely play there again.
Two holes had no cups on the greens
Two flags were in the rough. No one explained that a few of the holes were being worked on.
This course was fun and challenging
We like a good challenge! Having only played it once, we did pretty well. The setting was beautiful and the added flower plantings made it even better! You could tell the community regulars were very happy to get together on the course. It was a very pleasant experience and nice weather thrown in!
