Good shape
I had a 0645 tee time ended up playing back by myself had to work so no body in front of me. I completed round by 8 o'clock. Pace of play was not issue for me starter was accommodating to getting of back. The course was in great shape inspite of allot of recent rain. Greens were true ball marks were tended to bunkers raked so crew was on top of it. Water jugs were filled and plentiful. I really enjoyed experience from start to finish. I wil) play again for sure
Hidden gem in St. Clair shores
This truly is a hidden gem in St. Clair shores, this golf course was designed by Jerry and Bruce Matthews so it's a traditional layout. I think the course is spectacular, offers all golfers a challenge. The pro shop is well ran by a group that knows how to keep the course booked and the pace of play moving. The starters are on the ball. If you fall behind, you're certainly going to know it.
I especially appreciate the greenskeeper and his crew as they have performed a turf management miracle on this golf course, somehow they get it to drain after long stretches of rain and it's always dry. Overall, one of my favorite golf courses!
Early Season Play
I golfed a week before Memorial Day and weather hasn’t been great but I had a blast playing. Course conditions were fine but bunkers weren’t great, while the greens rolled well I had to fix minimum 3 divots on every green. The fairways were taken care of (when I found them). The course pathing is a little confusing since there are so many cart paths that cross one another and other than #8/#17 there’s no signage. Had a great time and I’m hoping once the weather is nicer they’ll fix up a few things (mainly bunkers) to make it a better deal.
Boring course
Course is boring. Decent condition. Seems to attract a lot of very bad golfers. Don’t go unless you really want to play badly and nothing else is available.
