Crescent Farms Golf Course
About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Pace of play
Normally the pace of play is fine. Today it was terrible! Had to quit after 13 holes. One tee was backed up 20 minutes!
Good course, Great Value
Great value for those looking for a decent course without breaking the bank. Not the most challenging but does force you to manage your shots off the tee. Course was in good shape. Staff is very hospitable. Clubhouse is nice and has all the normal amentities. Would recommend for those looking to get out of the city for something a little different.
Ok conditions
Course was in ok condition. Much better last year when I played it. Greens in great shape. Rough and fairway only fair condition.
Great course
Great fun course with super friendly staff. Would highly recommend this course.
Poor booking system
Did not play. Web site to book tee time could not list times available-it listed all times available
Nice layout
Pace of play was fantastic, the weather was gorgeous and as usual the staff was helpful and friendly. Course was in remarkably good condition considering it was Dec. 3rd.
Cresent Farms is a very nice course
Course in good condition but still a lot of leaves on the fairway and rough
Carts are good green are in very good condition
Fairways are all brown with zoysia grass but not that bad overall
Enjoy playing here
Shot a 39!on the back 9
great track
This course has a challenging layout and they keep it in excellent condition
Course was in great shape and Greens rolled smooth.
Always nice
Every time we play here, it is always a great time. The course is in great condition and they are priced perfectly. I can’t wait to play here again
One of My Favorites
Pretty decent shape throughout for the time of year. This one of my "go-to" courses in St. Louis. All around nice people, good food service and fun course layout make it one to return to time after time. It can get busy and slow the pace since it is apparent how others feel the same about its popularity.
Great value
Fairways are great greens are in good condition and roll well.
Rough has been aerated and is rougher right now.
Good layout is a good value for golfers on very good conditions.
Wow!
I couldn't agree more with the most recent review. Crescent has always been a good track. However, with the new cart paths, fairways, and makeover to the greens it's the top public course to play in the St. Louis area right now. The greens used to be slow and shaggy. You can tell they have rolled and watered them heavily throughout the drought. Great work by everyone involved in making this a premier course!! It's a must play with it's current condition!!
Great course even better value
Crescent Farms is in the best shape I have ever seen it. The course is impeccably maintained.
Great condition considering floods followed by drought
Played solo on a Sunday morning with VERY few others on the course; pace was awesome. Tee boxes are cut way too long and fluffy, and you can expect several poor contact tee shots on any iron, hybrid, or FWs teed low. With the amount of doglegs, short holes, and tree lined fairways, be warned. I feel like price-value is a little high at Crescent, but it is the best overall of the 3 courses in the neighborhood (Pevely and Aberdeen).
Great Value!
I always enjoy playing this course. The course condition was amazing considering all the hot and dry conditions. The grill is wonderful for a quick bite to eat at the turn. It was odd that I had to wait for a cart this day, yet pace of play was extremely good. Can't wait to return!
