Crescent Farms Golf Course
About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Good deal
Ive played this course twice and enjoyed it both times. It's challenging but not overwhelming. Greens in good condition right now.
Pretty nice
It' was a weekday in December so I can't be too hard on it. It was in great shape for winter and I'm sure it's great in season. Driving range was closed and the only food was hot dogs but again, I was one of like 5 customers there that day. I liked the layout so I'll go back.
A peaceful day
I took a day off work and played 18 holes by myself for the first time ever. The course was in great shape for November and just after a heavy rain. I let a twosome play through and other than that I had the course to myself. I used my new rangefinder on every shot. I spent the time to find my actual ball in the tall grass or the woods and play it from trouble. It was the best day ever. The course is a nice county course and stacks up very well to its more expensive neighbors.
Nice course
Enjoyable golf round in the country. Course was well maintained. Plenty of golfers playing towards the end of the season.
nice course
crowded but pace of play decent, course in good shape. Greens in nice shape rolled nice and true.Trying to get a beer and a coke was a little challenging a bit under staffed
Fun Round of Golf
The course was in great shape and a very enjoyable round. Play was fast, played 18 holes in less than 4 hours as a twosome behind a foursome. Overall a very relaxing morning.
A course for any player
Overall a nice course with a good mix of hole layouts. Greens were in fantastic condition. Tee boxes needed to be mowed bad. Played on a Saturday for $50 which I think is a little overpriced for what you get considering you can play pevely farms next door for the same price which is in much better condition with more amenities. Would definitely play again but only for a lower weekday rate.
Long course
The course is pretty challenging and has some very long holes.
First time at Credcent Farms
Course in good condition
Greens a little slow
Tee boxes great
Fairways very good
Well laid out design
Traps a little firm at times
Rough a little sparse in places
Staff exceptionall performed well
Course was in great condition
Played Crescent Farms for the first time. It was in a beautiful setting and overall was in great condition. The staff on the course were very considerate and play moved along at a good pace.
Course in great shape
The greens were a little slow, but that is natural in late summer when it is hot in St. Louis, to keep the greens lush (except when I missed two putts dead center, that stopped one inch short both times).
Pace was good. Started to rain, but subsided quickly, so we (threesome) finished in 3 1/2 hours.
My biggest complaint is with GolfNow, whose fees have climbed dramatically.
Course is beautiful
The landscaping is one of the most beautiful we've seen. Wild flowers and bushes line the fairways. The course is moderately difficult with views of the bluffs in the background. Although we were rained out for the last nine, it was an enjoyable first nine!
Great shape & good value!
Played in the afternoon (2:30pm local) on Labor Day & the course was surprisingly open. I paired up with another single on the front nine & pace of play wasn't an issue until we got to hole 7 - we almost never had to wait. After 9, my playing partner dropped off & I continued to play behind a twosome, and foursome in front of them. Thankfully, I didn't have to be anywhere because I had to wait 5+ minutes to hit every single shot on the back 9. Pace of play wasn't being observed or enforced likely due to the lack of rounds, but made for an unpleasant experience in this regard. (4 stars front 9 / 1 star back 9)
Otherwise, the course was in great shape with the exception of some improvements being made to the cart path sporadically around the course. Greens were plush, but a little fuzzy - maybe an 8 or 9 on the stimp.
Monzwhite
I played here sometime ago and conditions were dicey. Yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in very good condition and its a solid challenge from the back 2 tee boxes. Many restricted tee shots and a good overall challenge. I paid $45 on a GN deal and thought it was a great deal for the quality of the course. The attending working the desk said the course is in the best shape it's been in 8 yrs. Only downside was it smelled like sewer around clubhouse due to sewage issues I beleive..
Still in great condition
The course was in great condition even with the parking lot being torn up, the course was not. Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was good even for a holiday weekend. Will play again soon.
Very Nice
Nice and challenging course in great condition. Friendly staff.
Very good
Played on a Sunday, late a.m..They let us on early, excellent practice green, driving range also,
Grass
The greens were too long, especially for a weekend and the tees were cut too long, so it was difficult to get the ball teed high enough even with 3 1/2" tees
A beautiful turnaround
I've played here numerous times but this was first this year. They have had their troubles with greens in the past. This year, the place is in country club condition!
Traditional great course
Course was in good condition. Great Golf Now price and will definetly continue to play. Challenging from the tips.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, trsgd4! Hope to see you again soon!
