About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Excellent Golf!
74 degrees and sunny. Course was in great shape for early March. At times pace of play was a little slow. Very enjoyable all the same.
will be back many times
First of all let me start with the starter. He was friendly and welcomed us to the course. Talked a lot of golf with him and he is very knowledgeable about our sport. The course played well and even challenged me to not hit the driver on some holes. Course management has always been my weakness and this course will help me improve on this. I will be back again!! Course landscaping is beautiful and well maintained!!
They constantly lead groups cut ahead of you on number 10 really slows down play
Wonderful Course
I've played her a couple times now and no matter the time of year, the course is always in great shape, even in late February. The greens were all in great shape. Only minor problem was the fringe was a bit bumpy, but that can be expected at this time of year. Overall was a wonderful experience.

This is one of my favorite courses is the St. Louis area. Great layout. It was really fun golfing and the course looks great. In the summer, the 10th-Tee grill is a great place to hang out.

Rough was rough
First let me say I like this course very much. However, if you aren't an every shot on the fairway and greens golfer, it's not for you.
The rough was awful. Way too long and your ball is easily lost 3 feet off the fairway. Multiple holes balls were lost with 3 sets of eyes looking because the grass was high and very unforgiving.
A very recent aeration left it very muddy and unable to hit most quality shots out of the fringe and rough.
I do like the course set up and it was a beautiful day. Greens were in excellent shape but were hard to read one hole to the next.
Staff was great and carts were high quality. I enjoyed my round all in all.

Really taking good care of the course
Crescent had some major problems a 6-7 years ago, but they have done a great job making improvements to turf, drainage, etc and now it is in excellent shape. Fairways and tees are very good. They're doing a good job with the greens too, although they are frequently a little slow. If they ever figured out how to speed up the greens and still keep them nice/alive, this would be a phenomenal track because the layout is really good. The outdoor snack bar at the turn is a great addition.

Great value
Played this course on a Saturday for less than 25 bucks. Can't beat that, course was in great condition. Staff was very friendly as always. Pace of play was a little slow as we ran into 4 4somes, but that happens sometimes on a Saturday. Will probably go back more than a few times this year.

Good value but slow pace
Hot deal from golfnow for $24 was the motivation to play this unknown. Course was lush and yes, the greens were slow but consistent. Played on a Sunday and it was a 5 hour round.We will play it again and hopefully catch it when not so crowded.

Good fairways
Immaculate fairways and fair rough. Greens too slow and not on par with rest of course conditions which are great.

Good condition.
The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. The greens were in good shape and rolled true but they were pretty slow. They seem to work hard on the greens to try to keep them in good shape . Great value.
