Crescent Farms Golf Course
About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Good weekend play
Enjoyed the course and the weather. Played a little slow. Actually skipped the back 9 and played the front 9 a second time.
Great course
Excellent condition, great value, staff was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this course.
Wrong time of year
My biggest complaint is the grass. I read it was zoysia and some holes are but most are Bermuda that hasn't grown in at all. It was one step above playing off of hard dirt. Greens had lots of sand and dimples from aeration making a pure roll nearly impossible. Also, no aiming sticks made knowing where to aim very difficult because there is little distinction between fairway and rough. Layout is pretty solid but I suggest going much later in the year when the grass grows in. Not planning on going back.
Try It And You'll Like It
Had a good time on a perfect day, (except for the wind). First time out and this was a good course to get the kinks out. Greens were in good condition for so early in the year and can't wait to get back when it's warmer to see how the course looks while in bloom.
This is one of our very favorite courses to play!!
It was a beautiful day at Crescent Farms Golf Club! We always enjoy playing here! The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Our conditions on March 15th, were still Winter conditions...and for this time of year...it went well. I play here during a league...and the fairways, greens and tee boxes are always in excellent shape! Kudo's to the groundskeeper. The scenery is amazing...and we really enjoy watching the wildlife on the course. Beautiful settng....Deer, Geese (not to many) and what ever else might be out to play for the day. A great place for a fun, challenging and top-notch round of golf!
Thoroughly enjoyable course!
Fairways and greens in good condition. Lovely scenery. Superb golfing experience
A fun course with variety of features.
The tee boxes will be excellent once the ground hardens up and the drains. Fairways are wide and there are not an over-abundance of trees so the course is ideal for the average golfer. Their staff is extremely helpful and courteous.
Awesome Run
Crescent Farms is one of the trio of courses out in the sticks (Pevely/Aberdeen/Crescent are within a stone's throw of each other). This one is particularly nice.
It's not a cheap course, so I expected it to be nice, and I wasn't disappointed. It's not extremely hard, but definitely has a few challenging holes.
I will definitely make the drive out to play there again.
Requires. Skill shots
Good combination of water, woods, and shot placement. Makes one use all clubs in the bag.
very nice greens
GREENS WERE VERY NICE AND QUICK AND SMOOTH.THE FAIRWAYS WERE FAIRLY GOOD. THE ONLY THING THAT NEED ATTENTION WERE THE BUNKERS BUT OVERALL IT WAS COUNTRY CLUBISH AND STILL A NICE COURSE.
Course in good shape, but beware!
Although I called ahead of time to ask about the course, I wasn't told about a high school girls tournament teeing off ahead of us until we arrived. The back nine and hole #9 were empty. We were only a twosome, but they wouldn't let us start on the back. Result was a 5.5-hour round, instead of a 3-hour round.
Great course with golf now price
The course was in good shape. Greens rolled true. Bunkers placed in ideal positions. Course management very friendly. Could use more yardage markers. Would play this course weekly with discounted price from golfnow.com.
Nice layout, but slow greens. Fun course.
Good course. Layout and fun to play. I would play it again at the price I paid.
Love the layout.
Have always loved this layout. It has a good mix of all different kinds of holes. Good value for the price.
Solid track...good value
Was in St Louis on business, decided to get out and play. Course is about 30 minutes from downtown, which is about as close as you can get for a decent track. Clubhouse staff was a little frazzled b/c they were slammed, but nice enough. Got paired up w/ a couple of pleasant midwestern types. Front nine was a little spotty (some greens a little shaggy), but the back was in great shape. Good mix of tough holes and birdie chances. Only complaint was the slowish pace, but w/ perfect weather on a Friday, that's to be expected. I'd play here again.
Good course but fairways very dry!
This is still a good course, but the fairways are super dry. We have had dry spells before but when this course used to be the Player's Club the fairways were never like this.
The course was in excellent condition and green fees were great.
The course was challenging. It was in great condition and the staff was very freindly. I would recommend this course to anyone that wants a leisurely and comfrotable day playing 18.
This course has nice layout with just enough trouble outside the fairways to keep you honest.
Has nice driving range to get warmed up with. The fairways and green were we'll maintained with some repair work being done on a couple of holes.
First time playing this course and I would definitely play this course again. Course was in great shape and really enjoyed the round.
Would recommend this course. Great course and staff was friendly and very nice. Great old trees and the course was in really good shape. Really enjoyed the round.
