Crescent Farms Golf Course
About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

saved $5 over senior rate at this time of year.
for the money in good shape, fast play. clubhouse pretty empty of items.
Greens are nice and true.........
The electric golf carts are very tired though.......
The greens were fast and in great shape
The greens were fast and in great shape. I know it is fall golf but course needs to blow some of the leaves on the course. Golf play was a little slow because the allow fivesomes. Also we had aloowed 4 singles and doubles to pass our foursome contributed to our foursome slower play. Generally can play 18 in 4.5 hours or less. Weather was great so it was not too painful!
this course has really good greens
the course had wide fairways big greens and played long.
Nice course that presents a challenge.
I understand this course went through some tough times a few years back, but when I played, the course was in great shape (considering the time of year). Greens were pristine, bunkers actually had sand instead of just dirt. Plenty of tee boxes to choose from to keep it fun. Only downside, virtually no distance markers, so I often found myself trying to judge distance, which if you are playing for the first time can be tricky.
The greens are in fabulous condition and the tee boxes are in excellent condition.
Played October 30 and there were too many leaves on the fairways and at this time of year the most of the fairway grass is brown. Had great difficulty finding balls, even on the fairway. In fact was unable to find at least 5 or 6 balls. I know this is a factor of the time of the year, more attention in this area would improve the golfing experience. However, all the greens were essentially devoid of leaves and in excellent condition.
Greens in great shape
The weather was great, so it made for a very nice round. For some reason they had cart path only. The fairways were very long and hadn't been cut in a while. They also needed to use blowers around the greens so that you could putt and also find some balls that were hit into blind areas and balls went unfound. Once you had a line on the green the greens were in great shape
Fun Course with suprises
Crescent Farms is a fun course to play with smallish greens that seemed to putt pretty true for me.
Crescent Farms
Course is in good shape and challenging. But, the pace of play is extremely slow. A round will take you close to 5 hours to play. No marshal or staff to move slower groups along.
Great course for the money
Usually quick play during the week. Not over crowded like many other courses. Greens in good shape.
Best value for the money in Metro St. Louis
Location is great, course in excellent condition, price very good.
Previously private course. Great for the price.
Great course for the price. Nestled in the woods. Previously a private course. Very nice.
Friendly staff with great Brats. This course will test your precision.
Played at a great price, but at the end of a weather tough season. With that being said, the conditions were realistic.
good value for cost
This is only 2nd time playing course. 1st time played course was in terrible condition , this time was in good condition as long as it is maintained I would recommend as good value.
