About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Cancelled booking
Cancelled my tee time day of without warning or notification. Second bad experience I’ve had with this course. Will not attempt to book again.
Slow greens and even slower play
The course layout is good, but the conditions were not. The tee boxes and greens were overgrown. The greens were incredibly slow and firm. I am hoping I just caught them on a busy day, but the pace of play was painfully slow. I will give the pro-shop credit that they called me and told me a tournament they were having was running behind and my tee time would be delayed. I came when they suggested and things were still behind, so they gave me a free bucket to pass the time. However, even after the tournament had cleared, the pace was unacceptable.
Not great at all.
Definitely not worth the price. The course is not in condition for the price to play. Not worth it. Also overbooked with no management with regard to tee times. Wouldn’t come back until this is addressed.
Rough was tall and difficult to find ball.
Greens were somewhat slow.
Some of the mid to large size bunkers could use more than one rake.
Overall course conditions were enjoyable.
Improvements Continue
Course has had fantastic improvements and they continue despite being understaffed.
In great shape these days!
Crescent Farms has taken a huge step forward in the last few summers. The course is in great shape and is always fun to play! Staff is great and the greens roll very nicely!

Course was in great shape and delivered on many levels.
Wow!
What a great course! Friendly staff. Lots of marshals making sure play was on time. And…..even beverage carts on the course! Greens were a little shaggy with very little break. Fairways are narrow, so if you can’t keep it in play, probably not the course for you! Overall a great time.
Great staff, nice layout, great pace of play first thing in the morning
The staff is very welcoming and friendly! The layout is nice and can be demand if you play the wrong tees. The greens are big and very receptive of approach shot. It is the end of July and the greens may be a little slow to some, but that is because the staff is ensuring that the greens don't burn up and die in this heat. I enjoyed my round and would come back if I'm in town again.
