About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Used to be a member when Players Club
i think they’ve done a beautiful job with the main 18 holes, I played. Hard to give 5 stars when playing in the first week of February, but you can tell that’s what it’s going to be.. Zoysia fairways a fantastic upgrade over bermuda.4 level tees on every hole, a great upgrade. The greens yet another upgrade, even the bridges over creeks were nice.The clubhouse was way better than before. Come to think of it, what did the board do with all our dues and assessments?
A Windy day of golf
The course was dry but was cart path only which distracted from our pleasure.
Make sure there are no weddings
Terrible course management. They set me off on hole ten. After playing one hole, the marshal let me know that there was a wedding occurring on hole sixteen. So it was nice to get out and play five holes of golf on a beautiful Saturday. The marshal and clubhouse also allowed at least four groups to tee off after me, so all of them almost certainly ran into the same wedding.
Great condition. Go play this fall.
Tee to green conditions were great. Played in a Friday afternoon and pace wasn’t bad. Hadn’t played there in 20 years but since moving back to the area it will go in my rotation. I played on an afternoon hotdeal that was a steal. Regular rates are too high but par for the STL area on the Missouri side.
Terrible course.
Course is in terrible shape. Some rude staff as well. Won’t ever play there again. Would recommend at all.
A little surprised and disappointed
I've played here three times and this was the first time Ian say it was a little disappointing. The greens on the front nine were very shaggy and in need of some attention.
My group was behind another foursome and we had no issues keeping pace them. However, we were met by the course marshal and told we were a hole behind and needed to pick up the pace. When we arrived at the 10th tee box (after a stop at clubhouse) we were infact tight behind the foursome. Now that I've vented, I'd just like to point out that the marshals need to pay better attention to the groups they are lecturing
