Mystic Creek
This course isn't for beginner or intermediate golfers!!!!! Some par 4 holes should be par 5!! And some of the par 5 should be par 8+ . The course itself is beautiful, but the controlled carts make it hard to enjoy!!! Especially when the screen is telling you to speed up pace of play and there's other people on the tee box!!!! If your not a fast play golfer I wouldn't recommend going unless you like to be frustrated!!!!!
A hidden Gem
I recently played Mystic Lakes golf course and found it to be a truly wonderful course. From Courte to greens the place was well-maintained and in immaculate condition the staff was friendly and very professional and made me feel welcomed. I played the Meadows for the front nine and the lakes for the back nine and had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, in addition to the meticulously cared for green tees. I would highly recommend it to anyone and will definitely look forward to my next visit.
Surprise Gem
I never knew about this course even though it’s not far from my home. I really enjoyed the layout, and the course was in fantastic condition. It’s not an easy course, but it’s not overly difficult at the same time.
A must course to play!
A well maintain course kudos to management! Teebox, fairways, cart parh, restrooms, around the green and greens!
Great course, beware of carts
The course, staff and weather were fantastic.
The smart carts were a nightmare. At first we liked the display of hole layouts and yardage, but soon found the carts would suddenly tell you you were not where they wanted you. The cart speed would drop drastically to 2 MPH. As we tried to get back to the cart path the cart moved at this creeping speed; which really slowed our game. This occurred on multiple holes. Several time cart's notification required we must back out of our location, even though the cart was pointed at the path. The cart would not operate forward, forcing us to turn around an backup all the way to the path. One hole we were forced to manually push our cart over 50 feet until it would operate. Extremely frustrating to say the least and boy, did that slow our pace and those behind us.
While the course is great, just know you'll need to stick to the cart path and be ready to do a lot of walking from there to/from your ball.
The GPS on the carts is ridiculous
Haven't played here in years. The course has always been hit and miss with how well it's being maintained and Sunday it was in good shape. The greens were as fast as I ever remember. The only negative from that aspect was both bunkers I ended up in were in terrible shape (dirt with large rocks, not sand). We rode and the GPS that is currently on the carts was too much. On the good side, the available music and other information was great. On the down side, the carts slowed down for various areas non-stop. There were multiple times where we got consecutive warnings that ran in a loop (steep ramp coming, this is a blind spot, steep ramp coming, this is a blind spot, repeating one after the other) to where we couldn't get data on the course until we pulled past the hill. It was beyond distracting, to the point that one of the people in our group said they wouldn't be back unless they were assured those were removed.
Awesome Course
The course was in green shape. I found it challenging but not too difficult. The greens were very tricky. Overall we had a great round and will definitely be playing again.
Always challenging n fun course
We love to play this course as a treat to us since its always a very pleasant course to be in. Play it and you will be hooked!!
Back From the Dead
I have lived less than a mile from this course for 21 years and 5 or 6 years ago I had sworn off this course, never to return. They had let a good facility with such potential circle down the drain. Fast forward 5 years and I started to hear good things, so I decided to see for myself. Save for the condition of the bunkers, Mystic Creek has truly been resurrected. Plenty of rain in the area has helped many courses, but its obvious that there is new management/ownership or something that is pumping new life into these three 9 hole tracks. Charging fair rates, its one you should check out.
