Florissant Golf Club

Not the longest course, and with the hills and semi-blind tee shots on some holes you have options to try and shape your shots. Pretty tight layout with fairways close together, but still plenty of room to operate. Greens were soft, but I think players need a lesson on fixing divots and pitch marks! It had just rained though, too, so there were also a lot of marks from spikes/shoes near the holes. Great time!

I've been playing this course since it opened in 1964 and was known as Paddock. Current managment has done a very good job in improving conditions. Yes, there are some blind tee shots but another reviewer said "on nearly every hole" which is not true-maybe 2-3 at best.It has just as many downhill holes.It is rolling terrain and somewhat hilly which adds to its challenge of playing from unlevel lies.

Great course a little tricky to navigate but worth it

The area needed the rain so I will not complain the wet fairways took away some extra yardage for me but the corse was in great shape and as usual a challenging course for my level of play

My main thought on this course is that it’s very hilly with blind spots on darn near every hole. If you want to spend a lot of time in those conditions, this is your place. Too many holes are hitting up into a big hill. They really need to take better care of their tee boxes as well. For the money, it’s a good value. Staff was very friendly.

Course is in rough shape. Not a lot of grass on the fairways. Tee boxes need work. Sand traps were completely full of water. Irrigation is non existent. I play here about once a year. That's probably my last round here in awhile if ever.

Pace of play was really bad. Thursday morning 11am tee time.. I left around 1pm after we finished the 5th hole. Brutal.

Played here for the first time today. What a treat! Course uses natural lay of the land for its design which is classic. As stated in previous reviews it’s hilly and challenging but extremely fair. Bring your best shot making abilities and creativity for playing here. Really enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty while playing.

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Holly was super nice and took the time to explain the course layout.

The groundskeepers were also very respectful and were working hard on maintaining things. Great job!

The little things also make it enjoyable such as birdhouses and flower planters throughout the layout. Improvements were also being made such as a new deck on the clubhouse. Thank you to the City of Florissant and the entire team for such an enjoyable experience!

This is really a beautiful course with a TON of rolling hills. But those rolling hills make it challenging in a really fun way! Plenty of blind shots for those that like them. Slanted fairways can help you or hurt you. If you’re looking for an easy, super forgiving course, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a fun and unpredictable challenge, look no further! Pace of play was awesome early in the AM, feeling neither rushed from people waiting on you nor bored while waiting for others. A few rough places in some of the fairways, but overall in good condition. Greens were really well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Carts go faster than 2 mph!!

Course looked to be neglected all winter and not very many staff members working to make anything seem like it had promise ,about the only thing that was right was the pace of play and that was probably everyone was in a hurry to get off of this attrocius golf course.
