Awesome views, tough course
Lots of slope on this course, I found it challenging but fair. The views were awesome, beautiful area, lots of water. In some areas of the rough, there are rocks below the surface, put a nice dent in my club, stay in the fairway.

HOT RATE STEAL!
Got the hot rate deal and paid less than $20 for 18 holes. This was my second time playing the course so I had some recollection of the layout. Decided to play from the white tees even though I normally play a 6100 yard distance. Next time I will likely move back to the blue tees for more of a challenge. For this time of the year, the course was in reasonable shape. A few tee boxes shifted for reseeding and the greens were on the slower end but in acceptable condition as well (come on fellow golfers repair your ball marks on the greens and the greens would have been much better). I teed off just before 1PM and was done by 3:45!

a fun day
The golf course is very pretty. The fairways and greens are above average. The rough and tees were below average. All in all, my friend and I had a great time. Lots of challenging holes. Lots of narrow fairways. You had to think your way around. I would play it again.

Nice and getting better
They are touching up several needed areas of the course. The pace was good onthe front, but opened up on the back.

Best deal in town
This course is a great deal. It's not a very long course, but every hole is different, and the back nine is completely different from the front. The greens were in excellent condition, especially when compared to many other local courses that suffered from the high heat and rain in July. We played this course as a foursome in about 3.5 hours. We didn't have anyone in front of us holding us up, and no one behind us. We did let a single play through us. The staff did make a fuss over my buddy's son using a rain check he had received the week before for a rained-out round. We had a great time.

The tee boxes and greens were struggling; not in decent shape. Fairways and rough was fine for the most part. The golf carts have ball and club cleaners on board which is a huge plus. The clubhouse was severely lacking.
This course is good value for money if you pay less than $30 for 18 including cart, any more than that is robbery.

Tee to green was really nice. Zoysia fairways were really nice as were the tee boxes. The rough was thin and the fringe around the greens were not very good. This is the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star review. Really nice course and only a 30 minute drive from St. Charles.
