Best deal in town
This course is a great deal. It's not a very long course, but every hole is different, and the back nine is completely different from the front. The greens were in excellent condition, especially when compared to many other local courses that suffered from the high heat and rain in July. We played this course as a foursome in about 3.5 hours. We didn't have anyone in front of us holding us up, and no one behind us. We did let a single play through us. The staff did make a fuss over my buddy's son using a rain check he had received the week before for a rained-out round. We had a great time.

The tee boxes and greens were struggling; not in decent shape. Fairways and rough was fine for the most part. The golf carts have ball and club cleaners on board which is a huge plus. The clubhouse was severely lacking.
This course is good value for money if you pay less than $30 for 18 including cart, any more than that is robbery.

Tee to green was really nice. Zoysia fairways were really nice as were the tee boxes. The rough was thin and the fringe around the greens were not very good. This is the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star review. Really nice course and only a 30 minute drive from St. Charles.

Pace of Play Issues
11:30 tee time is primetime for a Sunday but pace of play was really bad. Course had a starter/Marshall which is nice to see anymore at local courses around the area. Our 2 some was able to make it through 3 holes in a hour so potential for a 6 hour round. Called the shop to ask if the Marshall could help out and at least mention pace of play with no assistance. We had four 2 some behind us and was hoping someone could address the 6 some to improve pace. After 3 holes we got a refund and was given a 9 hole raincheck. Really disappointed that we only got 9 hole raincheck but that’s on management. People playing golf need to understand courtesy and that most golfers don’t want to play 5-6 hour rounds. Let folks play through with less golfers If you have 5-6 hours to kill then an extra 10 minutes to let people play through will improve pace of play.

Ideal budget course
The best priced golf in the STL market in my opinion the scenery is stunning and the course plays great in timing and in overall condition of the course as well. the greens and fairways are well kept the tee boxes are also great with minimal ware. the course is mostly open but still is challenging overall my favorite course in the STL/COMO area

Fun course a little shorter for quicker play
Course was in good condition and the greens rolled really pure. Fast pace of play with a fun layout. Some tee boxes were not in great condition though I get it happens but there was one or two that were just hard to hit from and on the smallest green on the course they left a John dear striper or mower on the green just sitting there making a small green only half usable. It was pretty frustrating to have to play around equipment like that and be forced to aim towards the right side only. Other than that frustrating part it’s a fun course and that’s the only time I’ve really had any issues with the course.
