Great course with tremendous views
The course is in excellent shape and the greens are firm and roll true. Plenty of hazards to keep you thinking about the next shot. Course was busy but played fast. Took just over 3 hours to play 8 holes without feeling rushed.
Always a good 18
I played this course back when it was just 9. I have played it, at least, once a year for the last 5 years or so. It is challenging without being tough. Par 3's are longer than most basic courses but play fair. Fairways are open, at times. Most greens are flat. I have yet to score what I want to, on this course, but that's more on me than the course. It must be good because I keep coming back and I have limited funds to play.
Incline Village
The course was busy but in good condition. Had to wait on most shots, no Marshall on the course to help move things along. I understand there were a lot of seniors playing on a nice Tuesday morning. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Smiley's Day in the Village
Course is in great condition ... greens were faster than expected. The landscaping additions make this a very pretty course now - not that it was ugly before.
You won't get "easy" scores, but the course design is one to make you stop and plan your shots. It is one of my "top ten" favorites.
nice course
played here for years as good now as it has ever been.
Great Course/Will Go Back
I enjoyed this course. The lake is beautiful to play near.
We were rained out on hole 13 and I still came away very encouraged. I plan to go back soon.
Most of the holes were very nicely created. A few of the tee boxes leave the golfer unable to see the flag, but that makes the came interesting.
If I could offer any advice I'd say don't become too confident.
With Family
Had threesome of good hitters and enjoyed course very much. Will surely return with other golfers too introduce them to the course. Nice views from most holes.
Overall Nice Course
Course was in overall nice shape. If I had a negative thing to say it would be that the tee boxes needed to be in better shape, a bit to long.
Course in Great Shape
Course is in great shape. Greens are true, soft enough to hold the ball. Fairways in great shape. Some Tee boxes are showing wear and tear, but that can be expected. Most of them are in great shape.
The one negative is someone smokes in the club house. This is the second time this year I've been there and it was the same. So naturally I am not staying in their to eat anything.
good balance of sand, water and trees
very open and yet challenging with water holes and length on par fives. good turf and well kept greens and fairways. enjoyed playing.
Driver & Wedge
Played from the White Tee's - Driver and Wedge is all you will need except for 1 or 2 holes. Fun course, small greens, some greens are elevated. Excellent Staff!
Great corse
Beautiful corse and provides many different hole scenarios.
Decent golf course.
Course was good, a little rough around the edges, but tees, fairways and greens were decent. The cart fleet could be revamped. The concession stand at the turn is always a favorite, just wish they could take a credit card.
Good value for what you get
The greens rolled very smooth. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Tee boxes needed some work. Played in about 4 hours on crowded afternoon. Enjoy the challenge of many of the holes it was very windy when I played so that added to the challenge. Great deal on Monday afternoon for 20 dollars.
Well kept.
I'm no pro, matter of fact , I stink. Just love the game. Was at the US Open last week and played 4 NC courses while there. This course was in FAR better shape than any of them.
Nice course
I was pleasantly surprised at the shape of the course. Great condition, greens were nice and course played somewhat difficult at times. I highly recommend it especially for the price.
fun course to play
nice course. sometimes the greens get a little messy from the heat but overall they take good care of the course. definiteky will play there more. I thought the two man scramble every month was a good idea too.
Tough Short course
One of the best Short courses in the St. Louis area.
Very hard if you get off the beaten path
Nice course, interesting holes.
This is a very nice course, although difficult to get to. Greens were fast and true.
