Lakes/Woods at Mystic Creek Golf Club

The staff was friendly.

The main issue I had was how the holes were cut. It looked like a newbie cut the holes. All of the edges were frayed and brown. The greens were very very slow. The cost for 9 holes was not worth it with the conditions.

Not a terrible course it is very challenging but a long drive for us.

Course was in decent shape all and all not worth the $49 green fee and the long drive to get there

The course is outstanding.

MC is more of a roller-coaster ride than golf with its elevation changes and twisting fwys.

Plush Fairways.

Clean, consistent greens.

Solid tee boxes.

Great practice facilities.

Full pro shop.

If play for the first time, unless with a local, play defensively unless you have a clear view of what's ahead. There were a number of times I found the fwy but was still in a poor location resulting in layups.

Will certainly play again.

Very nice course in excellent condition. Slow round-- behind foursome that just wasn't going to wave us thro. Finally ask if we could drive a hole ahead-- they said okay. Very good staff and other than the pace of play-- very enjoyable.

Played all 27 holes and have to say the course was beautiful. Feels like an up north course with elevation changes, natural scenery and great aesthetics. Played the lakes first then woods and meadows last. Enjoyed them all including the lunch after 18. Will be going back very soon. Worth the drive be to Camp Dearborn to experience. Mystic Creek. Definitely a exceeded my expectations 😊

I hadn't played here in several years. Was previously pretty run down. In excellent shape now! Defintely worth a visit!

Highly recommend this course, great value for the cost. Consistent greens with some challenging fairways. Well maintained as well, this will be a new favorite course for us.

From the second, we got into our cart, giving us a rundown of their new car with the GPS and Bluetooth hook up. Letting us know that it’s car path only the carts are tracked via GPS so if you go off the car path too far, it will stop. Just really a great course for.

I live near Mystic Creek, so invariably I end up playing 4-5x per year. Very nice local course with 3 varying 9's. Typically in very good shape. Nice staff & the club pro, Trent, is a good guy, who also taught my son to play. The three 9's are, in order of hardness:

Meadows- pretty open, not too long unless you're playing from the tips, few forced carries. Only tough holes are 6-7, #3 is long, but, unless you hook it left, the right is wide open. #4 is a gem.

Woods- scenic 9 with an up North feel. Holes 3-9 give a real secluded feel. My favorite 9. Good mix of tough & easy holes with a drivable par 4 (#6..don't miss right!) & a good mix of "let it rip" holes & some where you need to use some finesse (#4,8)

Lakes- lives up to the name. Water on 8 of 9 holes with it REALLY in play on 6 of those 8. If you're off, this 9 is a bear & you'll lose a bunch of balls, but, it's fair. Water is clear to see, need to execute.. I've shot 42 on this 9 when I'm on & 54 when I'm off. #6 is a PGA course tough Par 3, #8 is a beautiful, but, challenging drive over a lake.

Trent and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating. The course was in impeccable shape considering how early it is in the season. This course will continue to be my favorite course in the Metro Detroit area for the price and quality.
