Meramec Lakes Golf Course

Very interesting back nine.

Club house personal were friendly and very helpful.

Pace of play was very good-3 hours and 20 minutes

We really like this course. The front nine is long and flat. The back nine is hilly, curvy and lots of fun. They have really worked on this course and it is better every time we play it. The staff has become more friendly too. You may run up on some older folks playing slow but I'm hoping to be one of them in 20 years. We will continue to play this course when we are in the area.

The course had a water main break last year which killed most of the course and they haven’t recovered yet, The greens were horrible, fluffy due to not being cut 35% of the greens, dead areas 40% and the other 30% was cut but not very good. Tee boxes died so they moved them to the fairways. This was one of the gems during the past years but I won’t be going back anytime soon

The course is really cool and has a great layout. The fairways are in excellent condition as well as the tee boxes. The rough is patchy in spots but not a deal breaker. The greens are quick as well, but they leave much to be desired. They were full of sand where trying to patch the greens and they were bumpy. Very inconsistent. Overall the course is good, just needs a little TLC on the greens. Would play here again if the greens were better.

This is a very nice course for the price of admission. The variety in hole layout is nice, too. The front 9 is fairly flat and in a sort of "links" layout, while the back 9 is very hilly and cuts through hills and woods. One of my favorite courses in the area.

Very dry. Ball ran forever. Greens were hit or miss. Overall, like the course. Hope it gets rain soon.

Course Manager needs some customer management skills

Beautiful course! Greens, tee boxes and fairways in pristine condition. Anxious to play it again in the the very near future.

Course was beyond slow. Somewhat nice conditions, but be prepared for a long day.

The course was in great shape with smooth and fast greens. The mowers were out that day, but were very conscious to not get in the way of the golfers (very much appreciated). the front 9 is fairly flat and wide open. The back 9 is nestled in the hills with lots of elevation changes. Lots of fun and memorable holes. If you take a very short walk from the #13 tee you can see the Meramec and surrounding countryside.

What a great course. Perfect condition. Staff was probably some of the friendliest and informative I've experienced. Course is a bit of a drive from where I live but will definitely be playing again.

Excellent value and friendly, helpful staff. As a beginner golfer, the front 9 brought many moments to continue to learn and the back 9 was really a challenge (partly due to a windy day).
