Probably the best course I'll never play again.
I had one of those gift cards, and going to redeem it, I could tell it'd be a process, so I called ahead to hopefully make it easier. The guy that picked up said that there was a whole process to them and itd be easier if I just brought it in and let them handle it. Ok, cool. Fast forward, I roll in thinking everything is cool, and the guy in the clubhouse obviously wasnt the one I talked to. This one talked to me like I was a kindergartner. I was on the verge of walking out and he finally said hed take care of it, but made it abundantly clear how frustrated he was. I no longer wanted to play there, but I had friends with me, so the whole thing just sucked.
The course itself was great. Super challenging and well maintained. Highly recommend checking it out, provided you can avoid getting talked to like an idiot despite making every reasonable effort to make someones life easier. It's pretty simple, either stop accepting the gift cards or get over yourself.
A good walk not spoiled
Eagle Springs is a challenging course in a beautiful locale in St. Louis county. The course is in the best condition of any in the area. It is a challenging layout, but you can score with well placed shots. Definately a course to play again.
HOT day...good time
The course was somewhat challenging, tight fairways. Course was in pretty good condition. It was pretty crowded so the two of us had to wait a little for the four in front of us.
Lovely course. Well maintained..
Great staff who were friendly
Would love to play again
Great Spring Golf Day
It was a nice day. The course was rough around the edges but greens very good. A bunch of old guys, 3-4 foursomes in front of us were not golf friendly , golf ready and took their sweet time playing. The entire round was watching old guys playing S. L. O. W. Did I say SLOW. It was unfortunate for us to be behind them but..........golf is golf. Can’t wait to see the course once the weather cooperates.
Little early for course to be at it’s b st!!
Course fairways are just beginning to fill in-St Louis weather has been unusually cold/wet! Greens were in great shape-and rolled well! We were a twosome/several groups let us play through-and played in just under 4hours. Played this course last year-well maintained!! We will go back!!!
Fun course. Has some hills and dog legs. We enjoy it and look forward to playing it again.
Eagle Springs - 10/14
Service was excellent. Conditions were chilly and damp. Hot deal rate for 18 was solid, and the pace of play was perfect as I didn't have anyone in front of me and only a single behind me. Was able to complete my 18 hole round in a bit over 2 hours.
Good round, good value.
Good course
This is good course for the money challenging yet forgiving.
Great experience
I was looking for an inexpensive place to take my daughter to play golf. A lot of places aren't too keen on the idea of a six-year-old on the golf course. I booked a tee time for one for a great price and then called the Pro Shop to tell them my situation. Not only were they open to me bringing my daughter they congratulated me for getting her started at such an early age and then charge did not charge us for her play.
The course conditions were excellent there wasn't a bare spot to be found in the greens were smooth consistent in just the right speed. The layout was not challenging but it was entirely enjoyable with plenty of risk-reward scenarios for the long hitter.
I am really excited about this Hidden Gem in North County and I am grateful that day were open and allowed me to create a memory with my daughter.
Eagle Springs
Course is in very good condition and greens were in great shape. New Yamaha carts were very nice and quick but would love to see a ball and club cleaner on the and then you would go up a star in my book. I'll be bring more an more players out to try this shotmakers fun course
Good Value for the money
The course was in good shape despite the late spring we are having. Greens rolled true and the fairways were finally turning green. Pace of play was slow with the two groups that were in front of us moving really slow. It was still a very enjoyable round.
Good layout
Course was in good condition this early in the year
