Johnnie Walker
This course at Pryor Creek is great. I had not played it for a long time and it has matured and is an excellent course now. Challenging but fair.. What you see is what you get.
Fun
Everything was awesome except for a group of extremely bad golfers blocking everybody’s smooth game. Ended up skipping them after watching a guy slap the ball back and forth on the green for about 10 minutes. Fun course and great price!
Kentucky bluegrass fairways and bent grass greens both in excellent condition and well-manicured. Greens were extremely fast.
Not an extremely long golf course but very challenging: fairway traps abound in tee shot landing zones, some narrow fairways require something other than a driver for your tee shot.
Large greens with subtle brakes that will deceive you.
What a Gem
This was an unknown on my trip and was the finale course on my trip and it was a great course to end on. So much elevation change. Stunning views. Lots and lots of grasshoppers. Greens were in great shape...Only gripe is that every leaf looked like a ball...We lost multiple balls in the fairway. I will be back to do Johnny Walker.
I will be back!
I loved this course and the beautiful scenery that comes with. I was surprised to have a concession stand on holes 7 and 15 with the best hotdogs in town. I can’t wait to play again.
Love this course
We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the wide open spaces. The course was in good shape home to play again when visiting Billings.
Nice course to play
Greens are mown short which leads to fast greens. Overall couse is in nice condituon.
Great course
Always a quality course. Great staff. Challenging greens and layout.
Good deal on this website
A few too many fivesomes ahead of us today. We still played in 4 hrs 15 min. Just seemed much slower
Awesome Value
This course is a tremendous value. Meticulously groomed course with large, smooth greens. Food and drink prices are very reasonable. We met the owner out on the course. He was working on branch removal and was so friendly and down to earth. Pryor Creek is over an hour from our home but has become our “home” course!
Beautiful Golf Course
As always this course was in excellent shape, greens were true, fairways were cut perfect . Overall conditions were awesome.
Very friendly staff and very helpful
Beautiful Course
This is truly one of the best courses I’ve played, the scenery, the layout and the challenging holes
The course is in excellent condition considering the winter Montana had.
I highly recommend this course for everyone to try
Course was in very good shape after a big rain. Only saw a few wet spots. The greens had been recently punched and sanded which is pretty standard for this time of year. The course has been in fantastic shape all year.
Pryor Creek
The best thing about Pryor Creek is the staff, that Houston Bradbury is the best worker ever! Greens are pretty darn good too.
Early golf in Montana
Frist cool day of spring golf and all was awesome. The course was a little damp from rain the night before but the ball play was perfectly challenging.
Friendly staff, nice course layout
It was the opening weekend and the course was not matured for the season yet. However, we had a good round. The clubhouse is being remodeled right now. They are investing money to keep up to date. Nice place to play golf!!
Awesome
We have been members since 2003 and absolutely love this course and highly recommend to everyone. From the owner to the greens keeper you are treated like royalty!! A must golf if you're in the area.
Great Staff - Nice Course
I have played this course many times over the last few years. The Johhny Walker (newer public side) continues to mature and offers many fun elevation changes and hole locations that an average golfer like mikeself can really attack and have fun with. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I have also been lucky enough to have played the Elmer Links Private side of the course, and it is also very challenging and mature course layout with tree lined fairways and also great elevation changes.
