Rough greens
The greens had just been aerated and sanded so they were rough and unpredictable. The rest of the course was fine. I was paired up with a couple of club members and they helped make the experience pleasurable.
Non member course is really wide open
The Johnny Walker course is a pretty wide open course once you go under the tunnel and begin hole 3. The course is wide open with very generous fairways. In about 10 years this course will be much more difficult when all the trees grow up.
The greens are large and gently sloped, with not much surprise.
The 10 mile drive from Billings is so worth it if you want to play a nice, quiet course.
Great private course
This is the second time I've played this course and just love it. We played with a member so we were able to get on the private Elmer Link course.
This course has so much character with plenty of elevation changes and dog legs. The course is very mature and poses many problems with bunkers and large trees.
Good Course
Very good value. Great weather and the course was in excellent condition.
Staff very friendly and accomadating.
The Rock man
Nice course. You have to play the non member course, but still worth the money
