Absolutely packed
No spacing between tee times. 3-4 groups waiting at every tee box. As we made the turn they decided to send a couple groups off the back which backed everything up even more. We had to wait an extra 20-30 minutes to tee off on hole 10. The round ended up taking us almost 5.5 hours to play. Definitely over priced as well.
Always Great Playing a Round at Hilltop!
Haven't played Hilltop in awhile but as always it was a Good round of golf at an Excellent course! Staff are Always Great and Very accomodating!. Thank You Hilltop Golf Course!!

Good value
Good value. What it lacks in length, it makes up for with tight fairways and challenging greens. Not heavily played, so I can usually get a tee time on short notice. Shot placement is critical. Being on the wrong side of the green can easily lead to a 3 putt on certain holes.

Way too overcrowded
After waiting on the first tee for 10 minutes past our scheduled tee time, we asked the ranger if we could start on the back 9. We did, and ended up playing the back 9 twice since the first tee was still very crowded after the turn.

Unbelievably slow
An 18 hole day should take around just under 4 hours walking for my buddy and I but man was that not the case for when I played here. It took us 6 1/2 hours. 6 1/2 hours. We were behind two different 6 man groups on the front and back 9 who wouldn’t let us pass them. The course it self was okay but the whole experience was ruined by this extremely slow pace of play.

Hilltop
Overall course layout is somewhat challengeable and especially greens are fast due to up down slopes. If the course conditions get a little more improved, I want to come back again.

Would not recommend.
Firstly, the staff was friendly and courteous. This course was terrible for the price. The layout is ridiculous. The fact that I didn’t get hit with a ball is crazy. Poorly maintained. Some of the tee boxes looked like the rough. Greens were patchy. Several greens were severely sloped. If I paid $25 to play here I’d be ok with it, but $56 is nuts.

Green is very slow . Need clean up dead tree branches..

Pretty good
Staff was friendly this go around. The pace of play was slow but it was because of struggling golfers in front of us taking a bunch of shots before hitting it up. We still got 18 in with a tee time between 4-5. The course is starting to look better as the rain slows and heat rises. The course is a shooting gallery. Watch out for balls coming your way. You'lll probably find some free balls. 😂 I'm sure I'll be back.

Hometown Course - Never Will Play Again
I have played Hilltop my entire life and it keeps getting worse. The most recent time I played HillTop allowed an eight-some to play nine holes after multiple calls to the clubhouse complaining. This caused our foursome front none to take four hours to complete and then on the back none the only adult ranger (course is managed by high school students mostly) had the audacity to asked us to pick up our pace of play. Not to mention at the same time the ranger drove passed a six-some playing the front nine and didn’t say anything. The course was in terrible shape and the workers here have zero clue how to run a golf course.

This course was an awful experience
Showed up 30 minutes before my tee time and still was not able to tee off until 20 minutes past my tee time due to the course being extremely backed up and the pro shop doing nothing about it. Tee boxes were a mess, often missing a marker, and random debris/man dug holes around the course

The course was in poor condition. Tee boxed were nor mowed, there was substantial standing water which did not drain properly
