About
Lake Erie Metropark in Brownstown sits along the shoreline of its namesake lake. The location is a popular bird-watching spot with more than 300 species recorded. Golfers might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle and broad-wing hawk sightings are almost definite since the area is one of the best hawk-watching sites in North America. The golf course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and is routed through natural wetlands and forests. Towering trees line the fairways and water comes into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The golf course is a manageable 6,472 yards from the back tees. Lake Erie Metropark's challenges are mild enough for high handicappers but there are still some interesting holes that will keep the avid golfer entertained.

Great course at a great value. Staff is amazing. Love playing here.
Quit pairing
Hate playing here with less than 3 people they will pair you with other people most times it will ruin your whole round.
Still early, but needs work
Course needs a little TLC..
Bunkers were mostly unplayable, greens needed work around the apron. Good value for the money.
Log Jam of People
They had people packed extremely tightly. There was multiple groups in front and behind us just waiting. Us well over four hours to get through 18.
Nice layout but not maintained
I’ve played this course a lot over the last 20 years and this was by far the worst I’ve seen it
Hopefully things get better
They had 20 people stacked up on 1 and nobody on the turn but wouldn’t allow to start on back 9. Staff was rude and due to poor management the pace of play was very slow.

It had rained the previous two days, so the course was wet, cart path only. But I love the course

First time playing here .The place was immaculate even with a big storm the night before .The staff was extremely nice
Good Spring Golf
Course was in good shape for the end of March. Not too wet and the greens rolled pretty well. Definitely recommend.
