Lake Erie Metropark Golf Course

I’ve played this course a lot over the last 20 years and this was by far the worst I’ve seen it

They had 20 people stacked up on 1 and nobody on the turn but wouldn’t allow to start on back 9. Staff was rude and due to poor management the pace of play was very slow.

It had rained the previous two days, so the course was wet, cart path only. But I love the course

First time playing here .The place was immaculate even with a big storm the night before .The staff was extremely nice

Course was in good shape for the end of March. Not too wet and the greens rolled pretty well. Definitely recommend.

Of the competition of golf courses in Downriver MI, Erie Metro Park has a tough to beat value to course quality ratio.

The course was in very good condition from tee to green. Highly recommended. The staff was very friendly. Only real complaint is that a slow foursome kept us waiting on almost every hole and there were no marshals to ensure they kept pace.

Got a great deal on a round. Paired up with a really good guy. A true gentleman. Was a good day and enjoyed the course. Course makes you use the clubs in your bag not just a few.

I drove 40 minutes for my 9 holes single golfer tee time, by the time I get here they told me you can’t play until fog dies down. I asked nicely why they didn’t call or contact me to tell me about the delay because Golf-now told me they should have called me about the delay. I told them that and they barely even got a sorry out and just walked away. Most places are considerate enough to give vouchers or something. Luckily golf now gave me a refund and I am grateful to them.

This was my second time scheduling tee time. First time I had scheduled for 18 holes but only got through 9 because of how slow and backed up it was on a Tuesday morning. That’s why I came back to play the back 9 but won’t be coming back here again.
