An Enjoyable Challenge
This was my first time playing the back tees at Greystone. changes to look of many holes and lets you experience a more challenging experience.
Had a blast.
Nice course
Course has a fun and challenging layout without being over the top. It’s first time friendly. Once you know the layout I could see it being very scoreable. Quarry holes were fun.
Always a pleasure
This course is always fun to play and in good shape Highly recommend!!
Gorgeous course
We went early Tuesday morning and the course was in amazing shape with tons of beautiful views.
Beautiful Course
Greystone is a beautiful course that offers great views. The course was in great condition.
beautiful course
Love this course!! It was in great shape, Moderately challenging in my opinion. Will definitely play again
Vastly Overated
This course has quite possibly the worst two finishing holes in all of golf. Seems they ran out of suitable land for golf.
Nice course - great staff
Pace of play was too slow today, 5:10 minutes for 18. Foursome ahead of us were too slow.
Staff was great, course is nice.
Beautiful course
This was the best course I've played this year. Well taken care of, nice amenities, good people. You wanted for nothing. Course was in great condition played well, challenging. Highly recommend
Grey Stone
Grey Stone is an amazing golf course. I consider it by far one of my favorite courses to play. Conditions are alway great and it is an excellent and challenging course.
Great course and staff
Played as a single on a busy day, they were able to pair me up and the course was in great shape despite the recent rains. Greens were rolled and quick.
May not go back
I arrived at the course well before my tee time with no other groups in front of me and i was held to the starting tee time. Pro shop manager was telling his staff that if people were any more than 5 minutes late for tee times, "they missed their chance." Leaves were everywhere! It was comparable to leaves seen in September. On the first hole, two of us hit gentle fades into the right rough and had to abandon search of two balls that should have been easily findable. Greens rolled really fast and true, however, we were often searching for balls due to leaves.
New Favorite Course
I have to say this is my new favorite course. I don't remember having so much fun after playing 18 holes. The course conditions were very excellent on a Sunday night after a golf outing and heavy play. You don't have to be a long hitter to score well, but you need to hit your ball in certain areas to score. For a short hitter like me, the course lets me strategize and use different clubs and still allow me to have a chance to reach the greens in regulation. There are lots of elevated tee boxes which remind me of a lot of courses in the Gaylord, MI area. The grass was very lush and well kept, no dead or weedy roughs. Very good carts paths and friendly people.. can't wait to book another trip
Awesome Course
This track is one of the best I’ve ever played! The last three holes ( 16,17, & 18) are the best in Michigan!
aerated and sanded greens.
Charged full price but greens were in poor condition. Aerated and sanded. Putts bounced from aeration holes. Very disappointed. Course is usually in great shape. Other local courses such as Glacier are in better shape and only charged $28.00.
Those are probably my favorite two holes on the course and the finishing 3 holes are one of my favorite series of 3 holes in Michigan. 17 and 18 are fantastic golf holes.
