Excellent
Last 3 holes amazing and just beautiful! Driving over the water to hit the green on 17 was super exciting! Over all greystone has to be one of the best courses I’ve played around here. Definitely will return soon. Wish they would have a better pro shop tho. They have what you need, but not very many options. Still great establishment!
Favorite
Accidentally left a bad review for this place thinking it was another course. Sorry. This course is my favorite. I've only played a few times, but it's so much fun. Everything is maintained well. The layout and scenery are great. The last 3 holes are the best that I've played. Can't wait to come back. This is a must try place.
Rocks and sand
Fun course, great layout, well kept fairways and fast greens. The bunkers need some attention, this course was built around an old quarry and the bunkers seem to have collected all the loose pebbles and stones. Nothing worse than playing a bunker shot and hitting rocks, ruining the sole of the club and causing serious damage to your iron or wedge.
Greystone Golf
Top Notch and a real players course. Staff was super cool and the experience was a memorable one. Conditions were excellent from tees to greens, and the course looked awesome on a beautiful August afternoon. Accuracy is very critical on most holes, so if you tend to spray the ball off the tee, bag your driver and play some good course management. The yardages play really fair, so playing a shorter club won't hurt you. I would definitely recommend playing this course, and I'm looking forward to playing many more times.
Decent course
Everything is maintained well. Especially the greens. They are pretty fast and fun to putt on. Nothing really jumps out at me as being great. I really don't like the 10th and 18th holes that run parallel to their range. 18 wasn't too bad, but 10 was littered with range balls. I didn't feel very safe playing it. Played on a hotdeal from Golfnow, but probably won't be back.
Don't play on the weekends
Love the course but playing here on the weekends is ARDUOUSLY SLOW!!
Wish the weather had been better
Had a nice time playing this course with my sons. The weather was terrible but the course was in pretty decent shape. Had been a rough stretch of weather so it wound not been fair to downgrade the course condition. Greens had been recently aerated so they should be in great shape now.
Awesome day at greystone
Great track fantastic layout and great price on golf now. Arrived late for tee time no problem worked us in.
Great course!...with one flaw
Very nicely maintained golf course, you'll enjoy the Challenge!....nice clubhouse, good food service....I might think differently if I paid full price to play here,
I think $55 M-F and $70 weekends is a little steep....but for a total of $24.50 on Golfnow, I Loved it!
One thing that I'll criticize, is the Cart Paths
For such a nicely maintained course.
Such a shame because everything else is good, just repave the Cart paths and you'll be one of the best course in SE Michigan
You have to play here once a year
Great course layout. Everything is taken care of and the greens roll true. But this course is not worth their asking price. Most people are paying $40 and up to play here but its just as good as any $25 course and that's what we paid for our round. The problem is.. Every time we book a round with a course that is more expensive they treat us golfnowers like dirt. We arrived on time and ready to play but we had to wait 45 minutes to be paired up even though nobody was on the first tee. (Because we were supposed to be on it). I understand that is needed to keep groups condensed and have pace of play consistent but there was no reason for it at the time. My brother and I are low handicap golfers so we can breeze through a course in 2 hours. They paired us up with your average 100 stroke players which is fine but they wanted to break apart from us after the 3rd hole because they felt embarrassed and wanted to play on their own without a couple of strangers. So we waited to get paired up only to have them lag behind us after we started... Its frustrating when a course that is this nice is mismanaged but what can you do? They think they know what they're doing so it doesn't matter what you say.
Beautiful Course
This was a very beautiful course with a very nice layout. Also very challenging.
Early 18
Our 4 some went off at 8am on a hot, humid morning. Our round was completed in under 4 hours. There was no one ahead of us to slow us down, and the twosome behind us never was close enough to push us. We played ready golf and moved right along. The course was in excellent condition for a late July day. The greens were true and fast. The traps were plentiful and well groomed. The staff were accomodating and pleasant. Overall, it was an enjoyable outing despite the heat and humidity.
No cart girl
Cart girl called in with a migraine and they didn't have back up. Not fun being out in hot weather with nothing to drink. Went inside at the turn and bartender was slow to arrive and slow to serve
Excellent course poor management
Day started off waiting for what seemed liked an hour for someone to show in to the pro shop.
Then were told that the t-time I made can't be honored and must wait again until the starter tells us we can begin our round . After hitting the driving range and putting green we decided enough was enough as carts began to line up , so we teed off.
Never an apology. Parents must not have taught the guy in the pro shop any manners .
The grounds crew in my opinion is above average.
Everything pertaining to the course itself was excellent. Give that crew a raise !!
You'll need some skills!
Toughest finishing three holes in the state!
The greens are too slow
If they get the greens faster I would go back.
They were not real smooth either because they were so long. Pace of play good for a weekend. Layout is nice.
PERFECT CONDITIONS
2 FAIRWAYS WERE NOT PERFECT
