Campbell's Scottish Highlands Golf Course

Fairways, rough and traps are in good shape, leaves are cleared off. Greens are in tough shape, lines and splotches every green where oil leaked from mowing equipment and bare spots from poor watering . Very disappointing for what it could be. Layout is sprawling, either straight and long or a quirky dogleg. And forget about your teetime, this place is always overbooked and at least a half hour behind. Today was 45 minutes.

Course was in excellent shape, fairways were great condition, rough not too deep, and greens were fast and true.? Highly Recommend this course.

Had not been to Campbell's in at least 2 years. My bad! From check in to the 19th hole, staff very welcoming. Course in very good condition. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. Was paired with a threesome of young golfers who were very competent and made the round very enjoyable. Would recommend Campbell's to anyone. Definitely will be playing there more in the coming seasons.

Scottish Highlands is not a long course (6249 from the blue tees), and it is fairly forgiving off the tee. The tees and fairways were in good shape, but a few of the greens had seen better days. There is a decent amount of elevation change, and there are some quirky holes, particularly on the back nine that require less than driver off the tee. Pace was good at 4:20, but for some reason that still seems slow to me.

Good course, only thing was the greens. Seemed to be end of season run down a bit.

Played back 9 with my wife and we breezed through. A couple of the holes were strange tee blind tee shots and the greens were a little slow but course looked great!! Tee boxes were awesome and the greens were huge!

I like the layout here. The holes are mostly forgiving, and the course is not overly long. My friend and I got paired up with another twosome, who was waiting for us at the first tee at the whites, so we played the white tees (6100 yards). Nice comfortable starting holes (short par 4 and short par 5). If you remain conservative off the tee, it's pretty easy, as there are a lot of short par 4's. Unfortunately, I like to challenge the short holes by hitting driver. If I really wanted to break 80 (I shot 81 with an 8 on the 16th hole) I would have played more conservatively off the tee. The greens seemed a little inconsistent speedwise, and there were a ton of spike marks on them, but they rolled OK. Pace was pretty good at about 4 hours and 10 minutes, but that was helped by our playing through the group in front of us after the 9th hole when they took a little extra time at the clubhouse at the turn.

Must play for a single golfer or group. This is my favorite course. The reason is, you can walk on as a single or part of a group, the pace of play and layout is fair and fun.

Despite the rainy weather, I loved this course. It was in great condition and the lady at the desk was super helpful. I particularly enjoyed the challenging par 5 18th hole. I was pleasantly surprised to see the carts had GPS systems.

Tee’d off right after a tournament finished on a humid day. Conditions were great. Course was empty so pace of play was amazing. Front 9 is much easier than back nine. Front has the feel of traditional links course. Back is a hybrid of links and New England. Greens were super fast in the back. Booked through GolfNow for $38. Super happy with the value I received. I would definitely return here to play again

The fairways and greens are in perfect condition. Get out and play this course. Great deal for the money.
