Campbell's Scottish Highlands Golf Course

Scottish Highlands is not a long course (6249 from the blue tees), and it is fairly forgiving off the tee. The tees and fairways were in good shape, but a few of the greens had seen better days. There is a decent amount of elevation change, and there are some quirky holes, particularly on the back nine that require less than driver off the tee. Pace was good at 4:20, but for some reason that still seems slow to me.

Good course, only thing was the greens. Seemed to be end of season run down a bit.

Played back 9 with my wife and we breezed through. A couple of the holes were strange tee blind tee shots and the greens were a little slow but course looked great!! Tee boxes were awesome and the greens were huge!

I like the layout here. The holes are mostly forgiving, and the course is not overly long. My friend and I got paired up with another twosome, who was waiting for us at the first tee at the whites, so we played the white tees (6100 yards). Nice comfortable starting holes (short par 4 and short par 5). If you remain conservative off the tee, it's pretty easy, as there are a lot of short par 4's. Unfortunately, I like to challenge the short holes by hitting driver. If I really wanted to break 80 (I shot 81 with an 8 on the 16th hole) I would have played more conservatively off the tee. The greens seemed a little inconsistent speedwise, and there were a ton of spike marks on them, but they rolled OK. Pace was pretty good at about 4 hours and 10 minutes, but that was helped by our playing through the group in front of us after the 9th hole when they took a little extra time at the clubhouse at the turn.

Must play for a single golfer or group. This is my favorite course. The reason is, you can walk on as a single or part of a group, the pace of play and layout is fair and fun.

Despite the rainy weather, I loved this course. It was in great condition and the lady at the desk was super helpful. I particularly enjoyed the challenging par 5 18th hole. I was pleasantly surprised to see the carts had GPS systems.

Tee’d off right after a tournament finished on a humid day. Conditions were great. Course was empty so pace of play was amazing. Front 9 is much easier than back nine. Front has the feel of traditional links course. Back is a hybrid of links and New England. Greens were super fast in the back. Booked through GolfNow for $38. Super happy with the value I received. I would definitely return here to play again

The fairways and greens are in perfect condition. Get out and play this course. Great deal for the money.

Was pleasantly surprised at Campbell's Scottish Highlands. The course was in great shape although the greens were a little beat up as it appears that fixing ball marks is not a big priority. Although they ran true. Would love to play the course again as there are some blind tee shots that now that I have seen them I would of played differently. The pace of play was great 4 hrs 20 min on a Saturday.

Overall would recommend this course and I hope to go back.

The reeds and the brush that once lined the golf course have been shaved away. At least one memorable bunker has been removed. The course is different from how I remember it from years ago. It is still a beautiful golf course that's run very professionally. The conditions are always very good. Nice greens, tee boxes, fairways and first and second cuts, The landing areas in front of the greens were exceptional. Still and always a great round of golf, just different from my memory. Easier to play than before and maybe that's better.
