Cream Ridge Golf Club

This was my first time playing the course and I enjoyed it. I only played the front 9. The fairways were pretty wide open and not extremely challenging. Everything was well kept and all of the employees I encountered were nice. There was a 30 minute delay to our tee time. I’m not sure if that’s the usual experience on a Sunday but it was ok since I wasn’t in a rush.

Tee times were 16 min apart and it was clear from the Golfnow web site that there were lots of tee times available ( for 9:holes ). When we got there for our 1214 tee time - the place was mobbed. Clearly so many groups waiting to tee off. Reason given was lack of carts? Don’t know if they accepted walk ons and just squeezed in as many people as possible. No correlation between what was on golfnow and on course conditions. I ended up canceling because we would have started much later and I worried about the pace of play.

The course plays the same as it always has, even from the forward tees it is a challenge. There are a few greens that are bumpy, but for the most part the are fine. Even though we got stuck behind a league of women golfers, they only played 9 holes. The rangers were monitoring their speed and made it bearable. Even when we forgot about staying in the rough with the carts, the ranger politely reminded us. Will come again

Wanted to try other courses in my area. I like to walk while playing in the morning. This course doesn't have the mandatory cart rule.

Checkin went smooth with starting tines honored on a busy day. Tee boxes and greens were Much better than last year and with single carts going out finished the round in 4 hours. Usually eat at The Roost afterwards but was shut down for coronavirus situation but my playing mates ordered refreshments at the turn which were waiting for them on a ride by. Good day out despite some showers in the area.

This course has everything needed for moments of challenge and for those times that you simply need to see yourself hit a good ball for mental recovery. Staff was great, couldn’t ask for anything more given the times. I’ll definitely be going back (tomorrow).

Last time I played here their were 3 greens missing. They have grown in nicely. The course is in fantastic shape . Very nice round. We were a twosome who the hooked up with another twosome. Everyone kept their distance. 4 golf carts per group very enjoyable round. Cream ridge is following the governor's rules to a tee. It makes it so nice when a course is doing the right thing . I want to concentrate on my game not worry about surviving. Kudos cream ridge keep up the great job!

Some interesting holes. Definitely kept me entertained. Appearntly the course was recently purchased (3yrs ago) and, unfortunately, not kept in good condition before hand. As for now, the greens are all in good shape. No bare spots. Aprons and fringe...all excellent! Just need a trim to be super nice.

The fairways are in need of some help. Many bare spots and hard as a rock. Definitely demands approach shots be 10-15 yds short to stay on the green. Cant help but wonder if the fairways are hard now, what's August going to be like??

Tee boxes are in excellent shape. Didnt notice any bare spots, just tee off divots.

I think the new owners are definitely going about things the right way. When they manage to get the fairways under control they will have one heck of a golf course on their hands
