Opened in 1929, Old Orchard Country Club has a classic design with challenges that stand up to modern golf courses. Throughout the course, you'll see traces of the site's former use as a farm. Ancient apple trees from the original orchard frame many of the holes. The diverse layout will test you with a variety of different shots but the gently rolling terrain makes for an easy walk. Skill and strategy will be generously rewarded but it's not an overly punishing layout for the high handicapper. Old Orchard's greens play true and fast and they are often flanked with strategically positioned bunkers. A stream wanders through the golf course, coming into play on several holes. Golfers will face a tricky island green on the par-5 seventh hole as well as an almost-island green on the par-4 13th.

Needs a lotta TLC
Lotta potential here but course is ni need of lots of care. Fairways are like roughs, and greens are like fairways. There is a story somewhere here.

Old orchard conditions
The course is violently overpriced for how poorly maintained it is. So much potential, course management is horrendous.

Forget this course its in really poor condition
The grass in the fairway was so long you could not find your ball half of the time. Sand traps were terrible they were overrun with weeds. In some places the rough was over 8" high. They should have paid us to play the course. Carts were in terrible shape brake did not work and the seats were all taped up looked like they came out of a demolition derby.

It’s a dump. I’m a local. Can’t believe this land just hasn’t been sold yet. Just put the course out of its misery already. You should pay people to play here.

Disgusting Orchard
I put my review on the website so all I'm going to say here is that there is not one thing that I could say good about this golf course. It is disgusting and they shouldn't charge more than $3 to play this golf course. What's sad is that ownership is making millions and they don't put a penny into the golf course. I will never even think about this golf course ever again..

Terrible conditions, like playing golf in your backyard

Grass in bunkers
For a course that charges $70 with cart you would expect better conditions. The rough was overgrown and made it easy to lose balls. There was even someone driving the course with a bucket of used balls offering to golfers for free since the rough was uncut and everyone was losing balls. There was grass and weeds in the bunkers and the greens needed to be cut and rolled. I have played many muni courses in much better condition
Would not play this course for free
Course is terrible! The grass is not mowed in the fairways. I am a golfer and you can’t find your ball because the grass is too high! You would have a better time going to the range. The greens look nice but very slow because they are not rolled…. Pure waist of time and money. It was a $73 dollar round, and I promise it is not worth $15. I don’t like to write reviews, but this was a pure waist of time and robbery for the value.
It has potential, but ownership shows they don’t care.

Don’t play at Old Orchard. If green fees were $20, it would still be a ripoff

Not good
Every fair way was overgrown and you couldn’t find your ball if hit in the fairway. Rough was over grown and the greens Wee bumpy and not smooth.

Absolutely Horrible
Where do I start…….chewed up tee boxes, fairways and rough indistinguishable, greens were like a shag carpet. Lost four balls in what used to be fairways. This course looks like it hasn’t been tended to in months. Wouldn’t go back even if given a free round
