Opened in 1929, Old Orchard Country Club has a classic design with challenges that stand up to modern golf courses. Throughout the course, you'll see traces of the site's former use as a farm. Ancient apple trees from the original orchard frame many of the holes. The diverse layout will test you with a variety of different shots but the gently rolling terrain makes for an easy walk. Skill and strategy will be generously rewarded but it's not an overly punishing layout for the high handicapper. Old Orchard's greens play true and fast and they are often flanked with strategically positioned bunkers. A stream wanders through the golf course, coming into play on several holes. Golfers will face a tricky island green on the par-5 seventh hole as well as an almost-island green on the par-4 13th.

Course in very poor condition, sad because this golf course could compete with experience courses in the area, if properly maintained.

Like playing at the beach
The entire course is in very poor condition. Grass is way too high all throughout and the greens are like playing at the beach.

Great value
Only the front 9 was open so we played it twice. It is nice to know they care about fixing the course that they closed the back nine. Beautiful course that hopefully will be fabulous once the greens are repaired on the front and back nine.

Terrible Course Condition
There are absolutely no difference between fairway and rough! Crab grass everywhere! Greens look like an old ripped up turf carpet. Cannot putt at all. And it still costs $50+. Shouldn’t be in business honestly. Looks like it was abandoned a decade ago. Explains why the parking lot was empty when we arrived.

Due to that, we gave golfers the option of playing 9 holes to reduce pricing. We apologize for the inconvenience as we are finishing up our aeration process.

This course fell apart and is not being maintained.
Greens were patchy and awful, there were grass clippings a foot wide and 3 inches deep around most of the fairways, and on top of all of that the grill was broken and we couldn’t even get a hotdog at the turn. It has rained a lot and I can understand the conditions, but the price is out of hand for the course you’re playing. $40 would have been a slight disappointment, $72 just feels like you’re being robbed.

Needs to be better maintained
Greens in poor shape and the fairways are pretty long. Needs some love.
Horrible conditions and pace of play
On most holes, it’s hard to differentiate between the fairway and rough. Greens and tee boxes are absolutely putrid. Played 9 holes in 3 hrs and 7min sometimes waiting 15min between shots. Easily the worst course I’ve played, absolute waste of money, will NEVER go back and will implore others not to waste their money. You’re better off not playing if this is the only option.

Needs TLC
This course has a very good layout, BUT it’s in dire need of maintenance, please please please please cut the grass, I can live with some of the greens being not up to par, but the grass really needs to be cut

Lots of potential
This course could be great. The layout is very nice but there’s a major lack of upkeep. The greens were the worst I’ve seen, the fairways were rough and the rough made it nearly impossible to find balls that should be easily found.
They Have Let This Place Go
Greens and fairways were in horrible condition. The greens literally looked like Afghanistan with how terrible and ripped up they were. Fairways could be mistaken for rough - minimal to no mowing or lawn care. This course used to be nice, but has gone to crap. Price has not caught up, though! Still $72 for this disaster. Won't find me. back here anytime soon.

Course should be closed
They have some nerve charging you .70 let alone $70. This course really should be shut down for the foreseeable future. There is no fairway, whole course is rough that is taken over by crabgrass , the greens are like fairways and the tee boxes are awful.
There is not 1 thing about this course that would make you come back again.
Boo to the management !
If you are so concerned abut fixing the course maybe you should lower the prices while the course is basically unplayable. I have played here numerous times and it has never been that bad - including bringing my club there for man y years in the winter to play. I would not recommend this course to anyone who wants to play.

Fairways and Greens in Poor Condition
$60/person is too high to charge for this course. The fairways were not cut and balls were lost in the fairways. The greens had many burnt out areas. Staff was very friendly and had played this course in the past which the conditions were so much better.
