Opened in 1929, Old Orchard Country Club has a classic design with challenges that stand up to modern golf courses. Throughout the course, you'll see traces of the site's former use as a farm. Ancient apple trees from the original orchard frame many of the holes. The diverse layout will test you with a variety of different shots but the gently rolling terrain makes for an easy walk. Skill and strategy will be generously rewarded but it's not an overly punishing layout for the high handicapper. Old Orchard's greens play true and fast and they are often flanked with strategically positioned bunkers. A stream wanders through the golf course, coming into play on several holes. Golfers will face a tricky island green on the par-5 seventh hole as well as an almost-island green on the par-4 13th.

Worst GC on this app
Greens are horrific
Everything is over grown
Is there a ground crew
They charge almost 160 for two golfers. This should be 25 bucks a man with a cart

There was no grass on the greens. It was almost comical that I payed 60 bucks a round. They should just really close up shop. Sun Eagles is much better

Dear Old Orchard Ownership
A little birdie told me these crooked owners are planning on turning this golden age golf course into a Top Golf. The people that own this place are sleezy investors that had zero plans on actually managing and running a golf course. They merely saw a plot of land and first tried to develop housing and now are trying to demolish an A.W. Tillinghast designed course for a strip mall and a franchised driving range. Absolutely despicable. Sell it to someone who will care for the property and restore it to its natural beauty. Get your money back for your investors and get out of Monmouth County.

Fix the sand traps!! They’re abysmal, aside from that, always a good time

First Time
The course is really good, but nothing is unreachable for birdie. The course needs work, layout is tough and areas need lots of upkeep. I think it is a great place to play

Dilapidated/Neglected Track
Employees were great ! Totally neglected property from course condition to building condition. I bet it was beautiful in it's day ! Shame on the owners ! They need to Sh... or get off the pot ! I will never go back regardless of the cost !

For starters, I would advise the grounds staff to use a blower to properly disperse the heaps of cut grass left covering the cart paths and bunkers. Course has always, and still does, have potential but the lack of simple course maintenance is disappointing.

Great layout
Challenging interesting layout. Condition was less than optimal. Greens need work and were very shaggy.

Don't waste your money
The nicest thing about this course is the landscaping at the entrance and thats it. The tee boxes had weeds all over them. The fairways were like the first cut of rough on most courses and the greens were like putting on 1970s shag carpet. Absolutely horrible.

Easy to get on
Course was easy to get on and there is a reason why conditions are very poor on the course greens are terrible in the grass hasnt been cut in a long time

Course is crap
This course is in dire need of upgrades from the carts to the sand traps and everything in between. Pro shop has barely any inventory of balls. Tee boxes to the greens are horrible. You need to pick from piles of crap that they call carts. Not even close to worth the money they charge

Terrible Conditions
The Tee boxes and greens poorly maintained. There is not a single ball cleaner or spike cleaner on the course. There’s wasn’t any water on the course despite nearly 100 degree weather and a heat advisory. There was not a ranger to ensure the safety of the players or a cart person to offer refreshments. This course was definitely not worth $50 for twilight golf. I wouldn’t pay more than $25 peak.
